You will need the following to start using Internet Banking:

 

Internet Banking ID

  • The Customer ID printed on the first page of your cheque book is your Internet Banking ID.
  • If you have forgotten your ID , the same can be generated by Clicking 'Get User ID' under ' Login' on our website www.icicibank.com/nri.

Internet Banking Password

  • The Internet Banking Password is in the PIN mailer which is a part of the Welcome kit given to you after account opening.
  • In case you have lost or forgotten your password , the same can be generated by Clicking 'Forgot Password' under ' Login' on our website www.icicibank.com/nri.

 

Debit Card :

 

You will need your Debit Card for authenticating certain transactions over Internet Banking.

One Time Password (OTP) has been introduced as an additional security feature to protect your account from online frauds. OTP is a numeric six digit numeric code sent to the mobile number registered with ICICI Bank. OTP is confidential and should not be shared with anyone, even if the person claims to be an ICICI Bank official.

 

OTP is an additional security measure adopted by ICICI Bank to protect your account from online Frauds. You are required to authentic your transactions by entering OTP. OTP is confidential and should not be shared with anyone, even if the person claims to be an ICICI Bank official.

 

If we observe a change in your Internet Banking access parameters, you will be asked to enter OTP to transact on your Internet Banking account. Every such login will generate a new OTP. You will have to enter this new OTP to transact to your internet banking account.

 

Since this is an additional security measure, OTP is sent only to your mobile number registered with ICICI Bank. OR

 

You may call phone banking by entering your 16 digit ATM/Debit card number and 4 digit ATM PIN to know your OTP

If you have tried to transact multiple times, multiple OTP will be generated. Every new transaction / request will generate a new OTP. You will have to enter the new OTP to access your Internet Banking account.

 

Single OTP is valid for one successful transaction / request. OTP is a dynamic password and is valid for the current session only.

 

Yes User ID will get disabled in case OTP is entered incorrectly 3 times.

 

If the customer remembers the password, he can call our 24-hour Customer Care to activate your Internet Banking user Id.

 

If he has forgotten, then online password generation option to be provided to the customer.

ICICI Bank does not levy any service charges for OTP on International Mobile number.

 

Single mobile number cannot be updated for multiple user id. We request you to link your accounts to single user id.

 

Format to update the mobile number is Country code & Mobile e.g.,UK Mobile number 441234567890 (44 stands for UK Country code & 1234567890 stands for Mobile number).

 

The mobile number request will be process within 1 Working day.

In case if you don't receive the OTP on your registered mobile number you can call our 24 hours customer care number by entering your 16 digit ATM/Debit card + PIN to know your OTP.

 

To enhance the security on your account, with effect from October 2016, all the key transaction alert information for Internet Banking will be sent to your registered mobile number.
