Unfunded Salary Accounts – Terms & Conditions

We value your salary relationship with us, however we observe that you have not received any salary credit in the last 6 months in your ICICI Bank Salary Account.

In case you have shifted to a new location, you can port your account to the new location and continue to receive Salary credit in this account without incurring any additional charges. To avail of this facility, you can make a request at the nearest ICICI Bank branch.

You can continue to enjoy no charges on your account for non-maintenance of minimum balance and other services as long as you continue receiving salary credits into this account, else the account will no longer be considered as a Salary Account and you will need to maintain the minimum Monthly Average Balance (MAB)* as per the requirement of the account.

In case salary credits do not commence in this account by October 31, 2019, your account will be converted to a Regular Savings Account and the relevant terms and conditions shall be applicable. The MAB applicable is dependent upon your location as follows:

• Metro/Urban location: Rs 10,000
• Semi Urban location: Rs 5,000
• Rural location: Rs 2,000

In case you do not want to avail of the above facility,

• You have the option to convert the above Savings Account to a Basic Savings Bank Account* by October 16, 2019 by visiting the nearest branch.
• In case you wish to close the account, you may visit the nearest branch. The revised terms and conditions shall apply till the date of closure of your account.

*As per the terms and conditions, if no salary is received for 3 continuous months, the customer is required to maintain MAB. (MAB requirement for Metro and Urban location is Rs 10,000, for Semi-urban location Rs 5,000 and Rural location is Rs 2,000).
