Deposits - Standard Money Multiplier Deposit


  1. Request for creation of Money Multiplier Account (Linked Fixed Deposit) will be processed in 1 working day.
  2. All money-multiplier Fixed Deposits will be enabled for automatic reverse sweep in multiples of Rs. 5000 on a Last-In-First-Out (LIFO) basis when the balance in the Savings Account falls below Rs.10,000.
  3. Fixed Deposits will be created subject to sufficient availability of funds in your account both on the date of placing this request as well as on the date of processing this request.
  4. Minimum Available balance in the Savings Account should be Rs.15,000/- at the time of creation of the Fixed Deposit.
  5. Fixed Deposit will be made in multiples of Rs.5000/- over and above Rs.10,000/- in the Savings Account.
  6. Amount for creation of Fixed Deposit will be debited from the Savings Account selected above.
  7. Nomination as in Savings Account shall be replicated for the FD. For any other update on your existing nomination kindly visit the nearest bank branch.
  8. In Special Money Multiplier Account - To earn Special Rate on your linked Fixed Deposit, please select 390 days in the Tenure of Deposit option.
  9. In Standard Money Multiplier Account available Tenure of Deposit: Minimum - 1 year, Maximum - 10 years.
  10. Fixed Deposit created will be in an Auto-renewal mode.
  11. This facility is not available for Savings Account having ICICI Direct facility.
  12. In case of Reverse Sweep from Money Multiplier Deposit due to partial or premature withdrawal, the Deposit will be subject to premature withdrawal penalty.
  13. Please select the account number from which the Fixed Deposit should be opened.
  14. This request will not be processed, if

    • Your account is dormant/inactive.
    • Your account has insufficient balance for opening of Fixed Deposit.
    • You are a Senior Citizen and your Date of Birth is not updated for your account.
  15. If you have provided your mobile number or email, we will inform you about the closure of your request by SMS or email respectively. Providing the mobile number or email here will not result in an update of your mobile number or email as recorded with us.
  16. ICICI Bank does not take any responsibility, and will also not be liable, for your claims, if the details provided by you are incorrect/incomplete.
  17. In case you are not liable for TDS, please submit 3 self-attested copies of Form 15G / 15H (for Senior Citizens) at your nearest ICICI Bank branch. You can now download Form 15G / 15H under 'Bank Accounts' after login using your user id and password.
