Bank Account - Transfer Your Account Online
For Customers:
I understand that the Account transfer request will be completed in 2 working days. I understand that my request will not be completed, if any transactions are carried out in the Account within 2 days of placing the request.
I understand that my request for transfer of Account is applicable only to my Savings Account and the Flexi Fixed Deposits (if any) linked to it.
I understand that the existing Debit Card / ATM Card will be valid even after the Account is transferred.
I understand that I will have to submit Form 15 H / 15 G for TDS exemption for applicable Fixed Deposits (if any).
I understand that all cheques payable at par issued to me in my Savings Account can be used after the transfer of Account is complete.
I undertake to not use or issue any cheques on my Account that are not payable at par. I undertake to destroy or surrender to the Bank any unused cheque leaves lying with me, if any, which are not payable at par.
I understand that I have to place a separate request for the transfer of my standalone Demat Account linked to the above Savings Account.
I understand that if my Account is in a state of debit balance, I need to regularise the Account (i.e. deposit funds into the Account to remove the debit balance) before the request can be completed.
I understand that if there is a lien or freeze on my Account/s, such Account/s will not be transferred.
I understand that if my Account is in a Dormant / Inactive state, I need to activate the Account by visiting a Branch before the request can be completed.
I understand that my Account Number/s will remain unchanged after the transfer to the Branch that I have requested for.
I confirm having read and understood the Terms and Conditions applicable for Transfer of Account.
How To Change Your Branch Online
If you want to change the Branch that your Account is held at, follow these steps:
Internet Banking:
Log into Internet Banking
Select ‘Customer Service’ and under ‘Bank Accounts’, select ‘Transfer your Account to nearest branch’
Your current Branch will be displayed. If you wish to change it, click on ‘No’
Enter the state and city of your desired Branch and then select the Branch
Accept the terms and conditions
Click on ‘Submit’.
iMobile:
Log into iMobile
Select ‘Services’ in the main menu under the ‘Transact’ tab
Select ‘Transfer Your Accounts’ and confirm
Enter the state and city of your desired Branch and then select the Branch
Click on ‘Submit’.
