Terms and Condition

I. Definitions

• "Affiliate" in relation to a Party shall mean any entity which (i) directly or indirectly controls at least fifty percent (50%) of the voting shares in that Party ("Parent"); (ii) the Party directly or indirectly controls at least fifty percent (50%) of the voting shares in that entity; (iii) a Parent directly or indirectly controls at least fifty percent (50%) of the voting shares in that entity.
• "Alliance Partner" shall mean AAE Travel Services India Private Limited which is the marketing entity for "www.expedia.co.in", and who has entered into an alliance agreement with ICICI Bank for purpose of providing the Offer.
• "Offer" shall mean such discount(s) /benefit(s) provided by the Alliance Partner on purchase of Products/Services using ICICI Bank Credit Visa or Master Card, during the Offer Period on the Website.
• "Offer Period" shall mean the period commencing from 1st Nov 2015 to 31st December 2015, both days inclusive.
• "Primary Terms and Conditions" shall mean the terms and conditions applicable to ICICI Bank’s internet banking facility/service.
• "Products/Services" shall mean the goods/benefits/facilities offered by the Alliance Partner.
• "Website" shall mean the following website marketed by the Alliance Partner: https://www.expedia.co.in/icici?MDPCID=IN.DIRECT.ICICI.HOTEL.10pc
• "Void Transaction" shall mean any transaction wherein the transaction has taken place but has been cancelled /rejected /unsuccessful by the Alliance Partner.

II. Offer

• To avail the benefits under this offer ("Offer"), the Customer shall be required to make transaction/purchase on www.expedia.co.in ("Website") during the offer period commencing 0000hrs on 1st Nov 2015 and ending at 2359hrs on 31st December 2015 ("Offer Period"), in relation to travel (based on check-in date) from 1st Dec 2014 to 31st March 2015.
• Offer: 10% off on all Expedia Special Rate Hotels on www.expedia.co.in only.
• Coupon Code: ICICXXXXXX (ICIC followed by first 6 digits of the ICICI Bank Credit Visa or Master Card).
• The Offer is valid only on purchases from www.expedia.co.in/icici?MDPCID=IN.DIRECT.ICICI.HOTEL.10pc
• The Offer is valid only for ICICI Bank Visa and Master Credit/Debit Cardholders selected at the sole discretion of ICICI Bank and who have received communication about the Offer from ICICI Bank, during the Offer Period ("Customer").
• The Customer may use the Offer during the Offer Period, subject to availability.
• The Offer is non-transferable, non-binding and non-encashable.
• The Offer is not valid for Void Transactions.
• Expedia’s terms and conditions apply.

III. Terms Prescribed By Alliance Partner

Terms and Conditions of Use of Expedia Voucher Code

• The voucher code issued by Expedia ("Voucher") may be used by customers holding on to a Visa and Master Credit or Debit Card issued by ICICI Bank Limited in India ("Eligible Cards") to enjoy a ten percent (10%) discount when booking an Expedia Special Rate hotel on www.expedia.co.in ("Website") using an Eligible Card ("Promotion"). [Eligible Cards must be used for payment to utilise the Voucher.]
• The Voucher cannot be redeemed against flight only, car only or hotel only bookings which are not Expedia Special Rate hotels, including (without limitation) Harrah's, MGM, Starwood, Novotel, Sol Melia, Rezidor, Hilton Hotels, InterContinental, Accor, Sofitel, Mercure, Ibis, Pullman, MGallery, Suite hotel, All Seasons, Orbis or Marriott hotels. • The Promotion is valid from 1st Nov 2015 to 31st December 2015 (inclusive), unless otherwise varied by Expedia in its discretion, for stays made from 1st Dec 2015 to 31 March 2016 (inclusive).
• The Voucher is not transferable and may not be used with other discount coupons, vouchers, promotions or special offers.
• The Voucher cannot be redeemed against taxes, supplier fees, cancellation or change penalties, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges, which are the sole responsibility of the customer.
• The Voucher cannot be used for any booking previously made and will be deemed fully redeemed once a qualifying booking has been made. If booking is amended in any way after the use of the Voucher, including (without limitation) amendments to stay dates, the Voucher will not apply to the revised booking.
• The Voucher has no cash value and no refunds or cash alternative will be offered. Improper use of the Voucher including but not limited to publication or selling of the Voucher is prohibited and may constitute fraud.
• Usual booking terms and conditions apply and all bookings are subject to availability.
• Employees of Expedia group companies or any other person professionally connected with this Promotion may not use the Voucher.
• Expedia reserves the right to vary conditions of use of the Voucher or to withdraw the Voucher at any time. Expedia's decision is final in all matters relating to this Promotion.
• AAE Travel Services India Private Limited, a corporation incorporated under the laws of India ("Expedia"), is the promoter of this Promotion. AAE Travel Pte Ltd, a corporation incorporated under the laws of Singapore, is the owner and operator of the Website.
• The Voucher may only be used by Indian residents aged 18 and over. The Voucher is void where prohibited by law.
• If Expedia becomes aware, or has reason to suspect (in Expedia’s reasonable opinion), that a customer: (a) made multiple bookings on the Website using the Voucher with a view to re-selling any accommodation; or (b) otherwise engaged in conduct which impacts on the fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, Expedia may, in its absolute discretion, cancel all bookings made by the customer using the Voucher without giving any reasons thereon.
• In the event of inconsistency between the English language version and any other language translations, the English language version shall prevail.
• The laws of India govern the terms of use for the Promotion and the customer irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.

IV. Steps How to Use a Voucher Code

1. Search

Enter preferred destination and travel dates on www.expedia.co.in ("Website") and hit the search button. A list of Expedia Special Rate hotels ("ESR Hotels") will be displayed; all ESR Hotels are eligible for discount under this offer, subject to Expedia's terms and conditions.

2. Apply the voucher discount

Pick your preferred ESR Hotel from the list, select the room type and click ‘Book'. Further, you will be asked to fill in your personal details and will be provided rules and restrictions. After reading the rules and restrictions further down on this page, click the ‘Enter voucher code' which is shown right below 'Payment'; now enter the Expedia voucher promo code and select to 'Apply voucher'; after successful application, the total price on the right hand side will be discounted by 10%.

3. Complete the purchase

The cost of ESR Hotel is now been reduced by the Voucher amount; complete the purchase by following the prompts on the Website.

V. Terms Prescribed by ICICI Bank

• ICICI Bank does not guarantee and make any representation about the usefulness, worthiness and/or character of the discount / benefit or of the Products/Services under the Offer provided by the Alliance Partner.
• Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the Customers due to provision of the Offer, shall be to the sole account of the Customers. Tax deducted at source, if any, on the monetary value of the Offer shall be payable by the Customers.
• All issues / queries / complaints / grievances relating to the Offer, if any, shall be addressed to Alliance Partner directly without any reference to ICICI Bank. The same shall be addressed by Alliance Partner, only up to a period of 2 days after the date of transaction/purchase.
• The existence of a dispute, if any, regarding the Offer shall not constitute a claim against ICICI Bank and shall be addressed directly by the Alliance Partner.
• The Offer is not available wherever prohibited and / or on products / services for which such offers cannot be made available for any reason whatsoever.
• ICICI Bank/Alliance Partner reserves the right to modify/ change all or any of the terms applicable to the Offer without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation whatsoever. ICICI Bank also reserves the right to discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation whatsoever.
• ICICI Bank shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss/ damage/ claim that may arise out of use or otherwise of any goods/ services / assured gifts / prizes made available to the Card Holder/s under the Program offered by the Alliance Partner.
• ICICI Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Alliance Partner or Card Holder/s from the benefits of the Program if any fraudulent activity is identified as being carried out for the purpose of availing the benefits under the Program or otherwise by use of the Card.
• The vouchers are sponsored by the Alliance Partner and the Card Holder/s shall be bound by the terms and conditions stipulated by the Alliance Partner in this regard.
• ICICI Bank shall not be held liable for any delay or loss that may be caused in delivery of the goods and services or the vouchers.
• The Program is not available wherever prohibited and / or on merchandise / products / services for which such programs cannot be offered for any reason whatsoever.
