Update Your KYC Details
Overview
Banks need to periodically update the customer identification documents of their Account Holders in their records to adhere to Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines. Customers are required to undergo the Re-KYC process and submit relevant documents to comply with regulations.
No Change request for Re-KYC
If your current details match the Bank’s records and:
There is no change in address or no change in KYC information and
The KYC documents (Passport and NRI status proof) as per the Bank’s records are valid (not expired) and
The FATCA/CRS declaration submitted earlier is with the correct Tax Identification Number (TIN) details
then you can send an e-mail to nri@icicibank.com from your registered e-mail ID stating ‘No change in KYC information’ to complete the Re-KYC process of your Accounts with the Bank
List of documents required for Re-KYC process in case of change in KYC information
- Identity proof: Valid passport
- Address proof: Click here for the list of accepted documents
- Non-residential status proof:
- Valid Visa/ Work Permit/Residence Permit: applicable for Indian passport holders
- Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card: applicable for persons holding passports issued by a country other than India
- Photograph
Customer Information Updation Form (Re-KYC) duly signed by all holders of the Account: Click here for the form. This is not required if documents are submitted through Internet Banking
FATCA / CRS Declaration: If there is a change in current country of residence or the FATCA/ CRS declaration has not been submitted earlier or incorrect Tax Identification Number (TIN) has been submitted. Click here for the declaration
PAN or Form 60: In case PAN is not held currently / not applicable as annual income in India is nil or less than the threshold limit of ₹ 3 lakh, then submit Form 60. Click here for Form 60.
Re-KYC request can be submitted through any of the following modes:
A. Internet Banking:

Instructions for uploading documents for completing Re-KYC through Internet Banking:
- Attach file in pdf/jpeg/jpg/png format only
- The length of the file name should not exceed 31 characters
- The file name should not have any special characters
- The file size of each document should not exceed the upper limit mentioned in the table below for the respective account combination (Single/Joint).

B. iMobile app:
Log into your iMobile app and follow the path below:
Log in > Go to Dashboard > Services > Service Requests > Request for updation of Re-KYC.
The file size of each document should not exceed the upper limit of 500 KB.
C. Registered E-mail ID:
Send scanned copies of the filled and signed Customer Information Updation Form and KYC documents to nri@icicibank.com .
D. At Branch:
Submit the documents in person at any nearest branch of ICICI Bank.
E. Direct Request: Dispatch the documents to the following address in India:

All photocopies of the documents/proofs must be self-attested (self-signed) by the respective document holder.
