Terms and Conditions:

  1. Customer can submit the request only through registered mobile number in his bank account.
  2. By this request customer authorizes ICICI Bank, to utilize his / her demographic details as released by UIDAI pursuant to his / her consent, for validation and updation of Aadhaar number in his / her bank account.
  3. In case of Savings Account held jointly by two or more holders, Aadhaar updation to such Savings Account will be done only for the Primary Account Holder.
  4. Aadhaar number can be updated for only one bank account held with ICICI Bank and hence will not be updated if same Aadhaar number is provided subsequently for updation in another ICICI Bank account.
  5. This request will not be processed, if:
    • Aadhaar number is incorrect
    • Aadhaar number is already updated for an account
    • Customer is not the Primary Holder of the Account
    • Details in Bank Account do not match with details available with UIDAI
  6. Aadhaar card number updated in the Savings Bank Account will be shared with National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) for receiving Direct Benefit Transfer credits.
  7. Customer request will be processed in 5 working days.
  8. If customer has provided his / her mobile number or e-mail ID, we will inform him / her about the closure of his / her request by SMS or e-mail respectively.
  9. ICICI Bank does not take any responsibility, and will also not be liable, for customer's claims, if the details provided by customer are incorrect/incomplete.
