2. How does one check the validity of their FASTag?

If you have taken your FASTag online, from a bank, you might have received credentials to log in to the bank's FASTag portal or mobile app. Use these credentials for logging into your FASTag Account and look for the “User Information” or “Account Details” option.

Click on this option, and you will be redirected to a page where you can easily find details like “FASTag Issuance Date,” “Expiry,” “FASTag Status,” and more.

3. Does the FASTag Balance have any expiry?

No, the balance in your FASTag Account does not have any expiry. It can be used anytime, until the expiry of your FASTag sticker. In other words, if your FASTag was issued today, and you recharge it with Rs 500, the amount will remain active in your FASTag Account for up to 5 years, if not used.

Also, in case your FASTag is damaged, you can apply for a new FASTag from the same bank, and the balance from the account linked to the damaged Tag can be transferred to the new account.
