4. Receiving the account number

5. Account activation
Banks ensure that only genuine entities can open account. As a result, every account opening request post In Person Verification (IPV) by branch executive is thoroughly reviewed by the bank for KYC and other required details, and hence, this can take a few days. Once the details are complete as per regulatory guidelines, your Current Account will be opened and you will get intimation for the same. Most banks share Debit Card, Internet Banking and Mobile Banking application access for your account by default or unless otherwise stated.
