IRCTC PNR Status Check

PNR is short name for 'Passenger Name Record'. This number gets stored in the database of Indian Railways computer reservation system (IR-CRS) which contains journey details of a passenger (s).
PNR status
Due to limitation in the number of seats in every train there are instances that the booking goes into waitlist (W/L). The W/L status keeps changing as per cancellations of other bookings. Every new current reservation status is shown under this page. Just enter your 10 digit PNR number and click "Get Status" to know the seat confirmation status.A PNR contains Passenger's personal information like name, age, gender. It also includes booking status and current status of the ticket.
