How does the UMANG Card work?
The ICICI Bank Umang Card is an easy way to receive payments for subsidies related to various initiatives administered by the central and state governments. The Umang card has many advantages, it ensure that benefits and subsidies are delivered promptly and directly to their intended beneficiaries who are eligible. When doing so, intermediaries are removed and the likelihood of fraud and corruption is reduced.
The benefit amount transferred by governments can then be used for various purposes. ICICI Bank Umang Card has a wider acceptance at 50 lakh point-of-sale (POS) merchant outlets and e-commerce sites in India. It has access to 14,000 ICICI Bank and other bank ATMs. Cash-at-POS service is also available for this card. You can also load this card through IMPS, NEFT, or UPI and through the bank’s corporate portal. This card is safe and secure, with OTP validation for ECOM transactions and PIN-based validation for POS transactions.
