How do I complete KYC?
Minimum KYC: Will take a self-declaration by PAN as legal ID and allow you to access your Pockets wallet. You will not be able to transfer funds until you complete full KYC from the Pockets App.
Full KYC: Will enable funding of the wallet along with P2P transactions. The process to complete Full KYC includes:
Set an appointment with our Biometric Partner
You will receive a Unique Reference Number (URN) via SMS, share this URN with the executive who will visit you to complete the Biometric KYC
The executive will reach out to you on the address provided while setting up an appointment and take your biometric details which will be authenticated via UIDAI
On completion of this activity, your Pockets wallet will be ‘Full KYC compliant’.
I just received a Pockets Reward. How can I claim the cashback?
The cashback amount which is displayed on your Pockets Reward will be automatically credited into your Pockets Wallet within 48 hours.
How to do KYC from Pockets Wallets app?
Complete KYC by clicking on the KYC icon on the dashboard of the Pockets App.
What is the validity for minimum KYC?
As per the new RBI guidelines, minimum KYC has no expiry and remains valid throughout.
How do I check my KYC status?
You can check the status of your KYC (Minimum Full) by clicking on the KYC icon on the dashboard. It will display either of the following messages:
‘Hey, your account is already KYC compliant’ in case your Full KYC is completed or ‘Your wallet is minimum KYC compliant, complete Full KYC to enjoy uninterrupted services’.
How to reschedule/ cancel my Full KYC appointment?
Reschedule or cancel your appointment from within the app by clicking on ‘Reschedule/ Cancel’ tabs on the ‘Retrieving the status’ of your KYC appointment on the ‘Check status’ page.
Why do I get a message - Unable to set appointment?
You get this when you have entered an incorrect Document ID or the ID entered is Pockets App. As per RBI guidelines, if you have already shared the same Document ID for another Pockets wallet you will not be allowed to use it again.
Why am I not able to transfer funds to other wallets/ another Pockets wallet?
As per RBI guidelines, all Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPI) will require completion of KYC by Feb 28, 2018 in order to enable funding of the PPI and person to person transactions.
How can I be eligible for a Pockets Reward?
Pockets Reward is awarded to all the users who complete transactions as per the following rules:
Bill Payments: Users who pay a bill of value of Rs 1,000 or higher through the Pockets App, will be eligible for a Pockets Reward.*
Prepaid Mobile Recharges: Users who complete a prepaid mobile recharge of Rs 750 or higher through the Pockets App, will be eligible for a Pockets Reward.*
What is KYC? / Why do I need to do KYC?
KYC (Know Your Customer) is a process mandated by RBI. All Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPI) will require completion of KYC in order to enable funding of the PPI and wallet to Bank account transactions.
Which all documents are accepted for minimum KYC?
Minimum KYC lets you choose PAN Card as your valid ID proof.
How can I check my appointment status?
If you have booked an appointment for Full KYC, click on the KYC icon and you will be directed to the ‘Check status’ page, where you can retrieve the status of your KYC appointment.
Why have I received a Pockets Reward that says ‘You just missed it’?
As per the current campaign, the first few users who complete a transaction every hour will win cashbacks. Refer to the question ‘How much cashback will I receive through the Pockets Rewards?’ for more details.
Can I view the Pockets Rewards I have won till now?
Yes, all your Pockets Rewards are displayed in the ‘Rewards’ section of your Pockets App where you can view it.
How much cashback will I receive through the Pockets Rewards?
Bill Payments: The first 25 eligible Pockets users in an hour will win a cashback of Rs 50*
Prepaid Mobile Recharges: The first 25 eligible Pockets users will win a cashback of Rs 50*
What will happen to my account if I have not updated KYC?
If you have not updated KYC you will not be able to transfer funds from your wallet to other Pockets wallet or to any other Bank Account.
