Report an Unauthorized Transaction

Report Fraud


If you are a victim of online fraud, reach out to the National Cyber Crime at cybercrime.gov.in, call the helpline on 1930 or call ICICI Bank’s helpline on 18002662.

Always remember:

  • Do not click on any links in the e-mail received from an unknown person
  • Do not share any confidential/sensitive information with anyone.


If you have received any phishing/suspicious e-mails, please report it to antiphishing@icicibank.com.


To block your Credit or Debit Card and protect it from further unauthorised transactions, you may


Block through Internet Banking, Click here


Click on ‘Customer Services’ Tab and then ‘Service Requests’

  • For blocking Debit Card, select ‘More’ under ‘Bank Accounts’
    • Under ‘ATM/ Debit Card Related’, select ‘Block Debit / ATM Card’
    • Select your debit card, reason and click on submit to block the card

  • For blocking Credit Card, select ‘More’ under ‘Credit Card’
    • Under Credit Card Dispatch Related, select ‘Block Credit Card’
    • Select your credit card and click on submit to block the card.


Prepaid Cards:

To block the prepaid card, kindly call Customer Care on 1800 2662.

Visit change card status tab to block the card.


Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) customers kindly call on 18002660199 to report an unauthorised transaction.


Meal and Multi Wallet Cards (MWC) can be blocked through the ICICI Bank Pockets app provided both are linked via the same contact number. Visit the play store to down load ICICI bank pocket app. On home page select MWC option. Select the card Number. Card block unblock option is available on single touch.


To report unauthorised prepaid card transactions, please keep the following details handy

  • Prepaid Card number
  • Type of transaction e.g. online/ purchase/ ATM
  • Date of transaction
  • Transaction amount.

  • To report Internet Banking, Credit, Debit and Prepaid Card transactions not done by you, call Customer Care on 1800 2662.


To report unauthorised transactions on Internet Banking

  • Customer ID
  • Account number
  • Transaction date
  • Transaction amount
  • Type of transaction e.g. NEFT/ RTGS.


To report unauthorised Debit Card or ATM Card transactions

  • Debit Card or ATM Card number
  • Type of transaction e.g. online, at a store, local grocer, cash withdrawal, etc.
  • Date of transaction
  • Transaction amount.


To report unauthorised Credit Card transactions

  • Credit card number
  • Type of transaction e.g. online, at a store, local grocer, etc.
  • Date of transaction
  • Transaction amount.


To report unauthorised Prepaid Card transactions

  • Prepaid Card number
  • Type of transaction e.g. online/ purchase/ ATM
  • Date of transaction
  • Transaction amount.


To report Unauthorized PayLater transactions not initiated by you, call our Customer Care or 1800 2662 with following details:

  • Transaction Reference Number
  • PayLater account number
  • Transaction date
  • Transaction amount.


To report Unauthorized Money2World online transactions not initiated by you, connect with Customer Care on email nri@icicibank.com with following details:

  • Transaction Reference Number (Money2World Transaction Reference Number)
  • Account number
  • Transaction date
  • Transaction amount.
  • Currency (Foreign Currency)


Please ensure you report any unauthorised transaction immediately. The longer the time taken to notify the Bank, the higher will be the risk of loss to you and to the Bank
