How does one download an Interest Certificate using iMobile Pay

When we deposit funds in our Savings Account or create a Fixed Deposit, we’re promised an interest, as per the given rate. The interest on your Savings Account balance is usually deposited in your bank account at the end of every quarter. For your Fixed Deposits, the interest is paid as per your preference, which can either be a monthly, quarterly or a yearly payout, or it can be paid after the maturity of the FD.

The interest that is paid into your Savings Accounts and FDs is an important element, while calculating your income tax. For example, interest from Fixed Deposits is fully taxable, so you must know the interest you have earned for a given year. So, how can you find out how much interest has been deposited in your bank account? One way is to check your Bank Statement, which can be a cumbersome process. The iMobile Pay app has been developed to include many excellent features and services. One of those features is the ability to get your Interest Certificate or Bank Deposit Certificate. Let’s find out how. 

How does one download an Interest Certificate using iMobile Pay? 

Step 1: Open the iMobile Pay app

Launch the iMobile Pay app on your Android or iOS smartphone and log in using your mPIN or fingerprint.

Step 2: Go to ‘Services’

On your Dashboard, look at the right-side bottom corner and click on the ‘Services’ option. On the ‘Services’ page, choose ‘Account Services’. Scroll down to find and click on ‘Interest Certificate’.

Step 3: Enter your Details

You’ll be directed to the ‘Interest Certificate’ page. Here, you can choose the account for which you’d like the Interest Certificate, from a drop-down menu. Following this, you can choose the duration/financial year, for which you need the certificate. Alternatively, you may also enter a date range of your choice. Click on ‘Generate PDF’.

Step 4: Get the Interest Certificate

That’s it! Your Interest Certificate for the selected year will be downloaded to your smartphone. 

It is easy to get your interest certificate on your phone, using the iMobile Pay app. You can get it anytime, from anywhere, as long as you have an active internet connection and the iMobile Pay app installed on your smartphone.
