How many FASTag stickers can I take for one vehicle?

You can take only one FASTag for your vehicle. If your FASTag is lost/stolen/damaged, please raise a request for replacement from customer login portal.

Can I have FASTag for same vehicle from different Issuer Banks?

You can take only one FASTag for one vehicle. If you have an existing FASTag for your vehicle and wish to take FASTag from any other Bank, you need to close your existing FASTag account. If multiple FASTags are found on a vehicle, the previous FASTag shall be disabled by Bank.

I am not happy with the services, I wish to take FASTag from another Bank?

You can close your account from customer portal if you wish to tag FASTag from another Bank. If you have not closed your account and a new FASTag is taken from another Bank, Bank shall disable the existing FASTag. You can close your wallet for refund if any. Any negative balance or pending dues in your wallet should be cleared before purchasing new FASTag.

My online Tag application is on ‘Hold’ or ‘pending for active’ status. How can I activate the Tag Account?

A. This occurs in any of the following cases.

  1. When you declare/upload incorrect Registration Certificate (RC) details or incorrect identity proof details.
  2. You improperly upload your RC details and/or ID proof details, leading to unreadable information. We suggest to avoid photocopies.
  3. If you apply for FASTag for a category other than Class 4 (car, jeep and light motor vehicles) vehicles.

In scenarios 1 and 2, you can activate your FASTag account by providing the correct RC and/or ID proof details by clicking on the links given below. For point 3, please call our customer care on 1800 210 0104 for resolution.:

Upload RC Copy

  1. Enter your FASTag customer ID number (starting with 1XXXXXXX)
  2. Enter the applicant’s date of birth as provided during FASTag Account registration
    1. On providing the correct details the screen will further open for the following details

  4. Upload RC copy. Kindly ensure the vehicle number plate and vehicle class in the RC copy is properly readable.

How do I know my FASTag Customer ID?

You can know your Customer ID through your ICICI Bank FASTag portal.

  1. A) In case you are selling your car, please remove (destroy) the FASTag issued to it and close its linked wallet. Call our Toll-Free Customer Care on 1860-267-0104, to close the Tag. In case there is a balance amount on the FASTag, the amount will get transferred to the account number where the customer would like to transfer the balance amount
  2. B) On purchase of second-hand cars (bearing a FASTag) too, you shall need to remove its existing Tag and issue a fresh FASTag, under your name.

Can I use one ICICI Bank FASTag for two vehicles?

No, you will need to take two separate FASTags for the two vehicles. You can however, link both tags to one wallet.

What do I have to do if I lose my ICICI Bank FASTag?

If you happen to lose your ICICI Bank FASTag, call the customer helpline number 1860-267-0104 to block the current FASTag and place a request for a replacement Tag, which will be dispatched to the registered address.

I reside 10 kilometers from a toll plaza. Do I still need to get a FASTag to avail the concessions available for local vehicles?

You can purchase a FASTag to avail concessions. Once you buy a FASTag, you will need to submit the required documents (proof of residence) at the Acquiring Bank POS location, to validate your residence within 10 km of a particular plaza. Once it is verified, you may avail a concession on the FASTag assigned to your vehicle.

How do I transfer the balance from FASTag CUG wallet to Tag?

Transactions through your Tag is only possible when the amount is transferred from your CUG Wallet to Tag.

Two ways to transfer from CUG Wallet to Tag:

Automatic transfer:

  2. Step 2: Select 'Payments' from the top menu . Select 'CUG Master Accounts'

What is the meaning of a blacklisted FASTag?

Tags may be blacklisted for various reasons, such as a letter from a government authority or a wallet that has gone into a negative balance. Tags that have been blacklisted due to government authority requests, will become active only if we receive a request from them after the account has been recharged with an adequate balance.

What are the documents needed to get a FASTag?

For offline application:

You will need to carry the originals as well as the copies of your KYC documents. You need to submit the following documents along with your application for FASTag:

  • Registration Certificate (RC) of the vehicle
  • A passport size photograph of the owner of the vehicle
  • KYC documents as, per the category of the owner of the vehicle:

Individual

  • ID proof and Address proof from the list mentioned, and one passport size photograph
  • Driving Licence, PAN Card (PAN Card issued in India is no longer considered as a valid identity proof), Passport, Voter ID Card, Aadhaar Card (with address)
  • A valid driving licence would be sufficient for Address and ID proof.

Corporate

  • In case of a sole proprietorship: The PAN Card of the proprietor, the address proof of the proprietor, Shop Act or other proof of firm
  • In case of partnership firms: The PAN Card of the entity, a photo ID of the signing authority, the names and address of the partners, the partnership deed and the registration certificate of the firm
  • In case of private companies and public companies: The PAN Card of the entity, a photo ID of the signing authority, the list of directors with addresses and the certificate of incorporation

Our representative will give you an application form, which you need to fill and submit. All the documents required for a FASTag application should be in the name of the vehicle owner. How will I get a refund in case of an incorrect FASTag deduction?

How do I generate or reset my FASTag Username and Password?

Once your FASTag account is created, click Here and register yourself, to generate your User ID and password. To register yourself, you need to enter all the required information in the relevant prompts. My FASTag was blacklisted. After recharging my card, will it become active automatically?

It’s simple, just recharge your card and use it. If the tag has been blacklisted because of negative balance, then recharging it will automatically make the FASTag active.

What is a CUG Wallet and Tag in FASTag?

A Tag corresponds to a particular vehicle, while the wallet is a pool of money which can be used to transfer money to any individual tag accounts mapped under it. A CUG Wallet acts as a parent and the Tag acts like a child. All child accounts are to be mapped under their parent account i.e., CUG Wallet. I have a new vehicle that is affixed with a FASTag. How do I activate it?

If you already have an ICICI Bank FASTag affixed to your new vehicle in your name, you just need to check the balance on the FASTag. To check the balance, simply give a missed call to 801092 8888, from your registered mobile number. If there is sufficient balance in your FASTag account, you can start using the Tag. These Tag are pre-activated, i.e., there is no need to activate these Tags.

Steps to set Standing Instructions (SI):

    • a) Retail Internet Banking (RIB):

What is a FASTag?

A FASTag is an easy-to-use, reloadable tag that is affixed to your vehicle's windscreen. It enables automatic deduction of toll charges, so you can pass through toll plazas without stopping to pay the fees, manually. FASTag is linked to a prepaid account from which the appropriate toll amounts are deducted.

The tag makes use of Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to ensure that the relevant charges are automatically deducted from your prepaid account. A FASTag is the perfect solution for India's national highways.

What happens if the FASTag is dispatched but not received?

During the process, your KYC documents will be verified and your signature will be recorded on the video call with the officer, thus eliminating a physical visit to the Branch.

The status of your KYC impacts the recharge limit of your FASTag. If you are yet to complete your KYC, the value of the FASTag limit in any month should not exceed ₹ 10,000. If Video KYC is accepted, you will receive an SMS on your FASTag registered Mobile Number confirming that you have completed V-KYC and are now a KYC-verified customer.

If KYC is rejected, you will receive an SMS on your FASTag registered Mobile Number that your application has been rejected. You will have to visit any ICICI Bank Branch to complete your KYC for FASTag.

To receive the SMS, please ensure that your Mobile Number is updated in Bank records. To update your Mobile Number, visit any ICICI Bank Branch.

What happens if Video KYC is initiated but not completed?

If you have initiated Video KYC but could not complete it due to any disturbance or interruption, you can complete the process with the same Tracking ID within 3 working days.
