How to open a Pension Savings Account?

For new customers

Visit any ICICI Bank Branch to open a Pension Account.

Submit a retirement letter or document from the company as eligibility proof.

Documents required:

One passport size photograph

Identity proof and address proof (choose one):

  • Passport
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Driving licence
  • Voter ID
  • NREGA Job Card
  • Letter from the National Population Register

(PAN Card is not considered a valid identity proof)

For existing customers

If the pensioner maintains an account with ICICI Bank and wishes to receive his/ her pension through the Bank, he/ she will have to provide the Bank Account details to the Pension Authority on or before the date of converting his/ her existing account into a Pension Account.
