Terms and Condition

I. Definitions

• "Cardholder(s)" shall mean a customer of ICICI Bank, to whom the Facility has been granted by virtue of such customer holding a Card.
• "Card" shall mean a Debit Card or a Credit Card, which has been issued by ICICI Bank to the Cardholder(s) and is valid and subsisting during the Program Period.
• "Facility" shall mean collectively Facility 1, 2 & 3.
• "Facility 1” or “Registration" shall mean the activity of indicating interest in the Offer by either giving a missed call on 08030636570 or registering through ATM or through emailer during the Offer Period during the program period.
• "Facility 2" shall mean top 10 spenders each on ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit and Credit card, who have cumulative highest retail (online and merchant outlet) spends by a Cardholder (ATM Withdrawals, wallet upload transactions through cards, cancelled/void, reversed transactions will not be considered), done on ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit or Credit Card, during the Program Period. Offer will be applicable to Cardholder(s) who have registered for the offer. Minimum retail purchase required to qualify for this offer is Rs.30000 during offer period.
• "Facility 3" shall mean next top 1000 spenders each on ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit and Credit card (excluding/after the winners of facility 1), who have cumulative highest retail (online and merchant outlet) spends by a Cardholder (ATM Withdrawals, wallet upload transactions through cards, cancelled/void, reversed transactions will not be considered), done on ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit or Credit Card, during the Program Period. Offer will be applicable to Cardholder(s) who have registered for the offer. Minimum retail purchase required to qualify for this offer is Rs.30000 during offer period.
• "Prize Offer" or "Prize" shall mean a gift of specified item/s to the Cardholder, in the event of the Facility being availed by a Cardholder, during the Program Period and the necessary criteria for being eligible for such gift having been duly met by such Cardholder and shall collectively include the Prize 1 & 2.
• "Prize 1" shall mean a 3 day 2-night package to watch Australian Open 2019 women’s finals/ men’s finals at Melbourne, Australia, which the Cardholder(s) availing Facility 1 and 2 shall be eligible for upon meeting the requisite criteria.
• "Prize 2" shall mean Flat Rs.2000, which the Cardholder(s) availing Facility 1 and 3 shall be eligible for upon meeting the requisite criteria.
• "Retail expenditure" shall mean usage of card on merchant outlets or e-commerce merchants (either on web or mobile platform) for making payment against purchase of any product or services
• Primary Terms and Conditions" shall mean the terms and conditions applicable to the Card in addition to these Terms and Conditions.
• "Program" shall mean the Offer, for the Cardholder(s) availing the Facility during the Program Period.
• "Program Period" shall mean the period commencing from October 1st , 2018 and ending on November 10th, 2018 (both days inclusive), during which the Facility can be availed by the Cardholder(s).
• "Void Transaction" shall mean any transaction wherein the transaction made by using the Card has been canceled by the merchant establishment prior to settlement with ICICI Bank
• “Wallet upload” shall mean transfer of funds through cards to pre-paid instrument of any bank or merchant without exchange of Goods or Services in one transaction.

II. Offer Details

• The Program is valid for the ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit and Credit Cardholder/s only and shall be valid and subsisting during the Program Period, unless otherwise notified by ICICI Bank. The Cardholder/s shall be required to carry out at least one transaction using his ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit or Credit Card in the Program Period, in order to be eligible for the Gift¹
• Offer is not extended to Commercial & Business Credit Cardholders
• Offer is valid only during the Program Period
• For Prize 1: 10 highest spenders, each on ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit and Credit card will qualify for prize 1, provided the cardholder has registered for the campaign.
• For Prize 2: Next 1000 highest spenders (excluding the winners of Prize 1), each on ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit and Credit card will qualify for Prize 2 , provided the cardholder has registered for the campaign.
• For both the above Prizes, 1 customer will not qualify to avail both Prize 1 and Prize 2.
• In case of a cardholder holding both ICICI Bank Mastercard Credit and Debit card, will not be eligible to qualify for Prize 1 or 2 on both Debit and Credit card. That is, if a cardholder is holding both ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit and Credit Card, and has met Facility 1 and qualifies for Prize 1 or Prize 2 on Debit and also qualifies on Prize 1 or Prize 2 on Credit, then in that case, this cardholder will qualify on for 1 Prize, either on Debit card or on Credit card. (and not on both cards). In this case, highest qualifying prize will be considered for this cardholder.
• Minimum spends of Rs. 30,000 is needed to qualify for the offer
• Registration is mandatory to qualify for the offer
• ICICI Bank authentication time stamp will be considered as final transaction time
• ATM Withdrawals, wallet upload transactions through cards, cancelled/reversed/void transactions, will not be considered as valid spends during the campaign period.

III. Offer Construct

• The Program construction shall be as follows:
• The Cardholder needs to indicate interest in the Offer by either giving a missed call on 08030636570 or registering through ATM or through emailer during the Offer Period during the Program Period.
• Cumulative retail (online and offline) expenditure of Rs. 30,000 or more by a Cardholder done on the Card, during the Program Period, shall qualify for Prize 1 or Prize 2. i.e. minimum cumulative spends during the offer period either on ICICI Bank Mastercard debit card or ICICI Bank Mastercard Credit card, should be minimum Rs.30000. Cumulative retails spends of minimum Rs.30000 during the offer period on both ICICI Bank Mastercard debit and credit card will not be considered as qualifying.
• For Prize 1, Top 10 cardholders each on ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit and Credit card with highest cumulative retail spends during the offer period and who have met facility 1, will qualify for Prize 1. There will be 10 winners on ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit card and 10 winners on ICICI Bank Mastercard Credit card.
• For Prize 2, next Top 1000 cardholders each on ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit and Credit card with highest cumulative retail spends (excluding the winners of Prize 1) during the offer period and who have met facility 1, will qualify for Prize 2. There will be 1000 winners on ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit card and 1000 winners on ICICI Bank Mastercard Credit card.
• No cardholder will qualify for both the Prizes.
• In case of a tie between two or more Cardholders under Facility 1 or Facility 2, who have done the highest cumulative spends on either ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit or Credit Card during the offer period, in that case, the Cardholder who has done the first highest transaction during the offer period will be qualify. For instance, if Cardholder A and Cardholder B both have spent a total of INR 75,000, which is the highest spend during the offer period and Cardholder A had completed the transaction at 10.01 A.M. while Cardholder B had completed the same at 10.11 AM., then Cardholder A will become qualify for Facility 2 or Facility 3.
• In case, a cardholder holds both ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit and ICICI Bank Mastercard Credit card, and has met Facility 1 and has qualified for Facility 2 on ICICI bank Mastercard Debit and is also eligible for Facility 2 or Facility 3 on ICICI Bank Mastercard Credit Card, then in this case, this cardholder will qualify only once for the highest Prize either on ICICI Bank Debit Card and ICICI Bank Credit card. This cardholder will not be eligible for Facility 2 or Facility 3 on other ICICI Bank Mastercard during the offer period.
• A cardholder can qualify only for once/ for 1 prize on either ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit Card OR ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit Card, that is a cardholder cannot qualify for both the prizes or qualify for both Mastercard.
• The winners of the Prize 1 and Prize 2 shall be intimated on our website. The winners’ list shall be displayed on ICICI Bank’s website within 60 working days of offer expiry.
• Winners of Prize 1, will be contacted by ICICI Bank and/or MasterCard within 30 working days of the winners list being published on ICICI Bank website. Alternative gift/cash will not be sent in lieu of the voucher to the winner. Alternate person, in place of the winner cardholder will not be allowed to avail Prize 1, that is only the winner cardholder can avail prize 1.
• Winners of Prize 2, cashback of Rs.2000 will be credited to customers account / credit card, within 60 working days of the winners list being published on ICICI Bank website.
• ICICI Bank shall be under no obligation to entertain any requests or claims for the Prize. Alternative gift/cash will not be sent in lieu of the Prize 1 or Prize 2 to the winner.
• Transaction which shall not be considered as a valid transaction for the purpose of the Program are: ATM Withdrawals, wallet upload transactions through cards, reversed/cancelled/void transactions.
• Customers who have availed gift/ prize of more than Rs. 3 Lakh worth in last year i.e. from period August 15, 2017 to August 15, 2018, under Credit or Debit Card programmes will not be eligible for this offer.

IV. General Terms and Conditions.

• This Program cannot be clubbed with any other program that may be made available to the Cardholders by ICICI Bank.
• All visuals/images/quantity of Australian Open 2019 event/package used in the communication sent to the Cardholder are for indicative purpose only. Prize 1 package will include as per details mentioned under Prize 1 – Australian Open 2019 Package.
• Declaration of winner will be based on Terms & conditions of the Offer & ICICI Bank authentication time stamp for transaction time.

V. Terms and Conditions prescribed by ICICI Bank.

• If a Cardholder ceases to be a Cardholder, at any time during the Program Period, all the benefits under the Program shall lapse and shall no more be available to such Cardholder.
• In case a Cardholder cancels or reverses any transaction/s, due to which he/she had qualified for the Gift, then the Cardholder shall no more be eligible for the Prize.
• The Offer is non-transferable, non-binding and non-encashable.
• ICICI Bank does not guarantee and make any representation about the usefulness, worthiness and/or character of the discount / benefit or of the Products/Services for package under Prize 1 provided by Mastercard team.
• This Program is brought to you by ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit and Credit cards department alongwith Mastercard and is made available only to Cardholders selected at the discretion of ICICI Bank.
• ICICI Bank shall not be held liable for any delay or loss that may be caused for Prize 1 winners.
• In the event any alternative Gift is offered, selection of the same shall be at the sole discretion of ICICI Bank.
• ICICI Bank does not guarantee and make any representation about the quality, usefulness, worthiness and/or character of the Gift, and shall not be responsible if the same, in any way, is found to be defective.
• ICICI Bank shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss/ damage/ claim that may arise out of the use or otherwise of any goods/ services availed of by the Cardholder/s under the Program.
• ICICI Bank reserves the right to disqualify/ exclude any merchant establishment or Cardholder from the Program, if any fraudulent activity is identified as being carried out for the purpose of availing the benefits under the Program or otherwise by use of the Card.
• No queries shall be entertained after 90 days from the closure date of the Program Period. The existence of a dispute, if any, regarding the Gift shall in no event constitute a claim against ICICI Bank.
• All issues / queries / complaints / grievances relating to the Prize 1 package, if any, shall be addressed to Mastercard directly at without any reference to ICICI Bank. The same shall be addressed by Mastercard, However, the issues related to transactions shall be addressed to ICICI Bank.
• If the ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit or credit card User ceases to be an ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit or credit card User at any time during the offer period and till the Australian open 2019 event, in that case, all the benefits under the Offer shall lapse and shall not be available to this cardholder.
• ICICI Bank holds out no warranty or makes no representation about the quality, delivery or otherwise of the goods and services offered by the Mastercard. Any dispute or claim regarding the goods, services and assured gifts / prizes must be resolved by the Card Holder/s with the Mastercard directly without any reference to ICICI Bank.
• The participation in the Program is entirely voluntary and it is understood, that the participation by the Cardholder/s shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis.
• All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
• All communication / notices with regard to this Program should be addressed to: ICICI Bank Limited, ICICI Bank Phone Banking Group, P.O. Box No. 20, Banjara Hills, P.O. Hyderabad - 500034.
• In all matters relating to the Program, the decision of ICICI Bank shall be final and binding in all respects.
• The Program is not available, wherever prohibited and / or on merchandise / products / services for which such programs cannot be offered for any reason whatsoever.
• These Terms and Conditions shall be in addition to and not in substitution / derogation to the terms and conditions governing the Facility / Primary Terms and Conditions. All capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the respective meanings ascribed to it in the terms and conditions applicable to the Facility / Primary Terms and Conditions.
• ICICI Bank reserves the right to modify/ change all or any of the terms applicable to the Program without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation, whatsoever. ICICI Bank also reserves the right to discontinue the Program without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation, whatsoever.

• Anything which is not mentioned above will not be covered in this package.

• Tickets are courtesy of Mastercard, the official partner of the Australian Open.
