How to Respond to Money Request on iMobile Pay App

With the ‘Collect Money’ feature, you can send a payment request where the amount is prefilled by the requester.

For CustomersFor Non-customers
Open iMobile Pay app on your phone



Log in to the app and click on BHIM UPI



Click on Collect



Enter the UPI ID of the person whom you wish to send the collect request



Click on verify. The app will automatically fetch the name of the customer. Check, if the name is correct as per the Bank



Enter the amount you wish to request



You can also mention the reason for requesting money. This field is optional



Click on ‘Continue’ to proceed



Verify details and click on ‘Submit’



The request to collect the required amount is now successfully sent to your friend



Your friend can approve the request on their payment app. Once the request is approved, you will be notified that your collection request has been approved and you will get the amount that you have requested from your friend



If your friend has declined the request, you will be notified accordingly and no money will get credited to your account
Open iMobile Pay app on your phone



Log in to the app and click on the ‘Collect Money’ section in the dashboard section of iMobile Pay



Click on ‘Collect Money’ from your UPI ID



Enter the UPI ID of the person you wish to send the collect request. Check if the name is correct as per the bank



Enter the amount you wish to request



You can also mention the reason for requesting money. This field is optional



Click on Continue to proceed



Verify the details and click on Submit



Your request to collect the amount is now successfully sent to your friend

How does one Approve Collect Request using iMobile Pay?

On iMobile Pay, users or merchants can request for a payment. You can either approve to transfer money or decline the payment. To do so, please follow the below steps:

For CustomersFor Non-customers
When any merchant/user has requested a payment from you, you will get a notification on iMobile Pay to transfer money to that merchant. Click on the notification or you can go to ‘Pending Request’ under the ‘UPI’ tab on the iMobile Pay Dashboard



Check all the details of the requestor and the amount requested



Click on ‘Proceed’ and enter the UPI PIN. If you are using your fingerprint, you can directly approve it with the same



After entering the PIN, your account will get debited and the requestors account will get credited. You will receive an SMS for debit and the requestor will receive an SMS for credit
Go to “Pending Requests” in the dashboard section of the iMobile Pay app



Check all the details of the requestor and the amount requested, mentioned under the “Pending with me” tab of pending requests



Click on “Pay Now” if you want to approve the request



After entering the UPI PIN, your account will get debited and the requestor’s will be credited. You will receive an SMS for the debit and the requestor will receive one for credit.

How does one Decline a Collect request using iMobile Pay?

You can also ‘Decline’ the request, in which case the request stands invalid. Click on ‘Decline Request’ if you don’t wish to transfer money to the receiver. Further, you will be able to see all the pending requests, with you or the sender in the ‘Pending Request’ section of iMobile Pay

Log in to the app and click on BHIM UPI



Go to the ‘Pending Request’ section



Go to ‘Pending with me’ to view the request



Click on ‘Decline Request’ on the left side of the transaction request. Confirm your action



Enter the UPI PIN. You have successfully declined the request
