Transfers to your own ICICI Bank account

      The acronym 'RTGS' stands for Real Time Gross Settlement. This is effectively a facility that supports the continuous (real-time) settlement of funds. So, transferring funds through RTGS enables you to make those transfers in real time, from any ICICI Bank account to any individual having an account with any other bank in the country that offers RTGS support.

      • Select ‘Transfer funds to other bank accounts’

      Depending on the channel you use for RTGS, the charges vary. These are the transaction charges associated with the different channels available for RTGS transactions.

      For RTGS done through online channels:

      Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) is an interbank electronic money transfer service that offers instant solutions. IMPS from ICICI Bank helps you access your bank account and transfer funds from there instantly. The beneficiary’s account is credited immediately when you make a request for transfer of funds using the IMPS option. This service is available 24x7, throughout the year, including Sundays and any banking holidays

 

    • How to generate MMID?

      The Mobile Money Identifier (MMID) is a seven-digit code that’s issued by a participating bank to customers who have registered on their mobile banking service. The MMID is required for availing the IMPS service as a beneficiary. You will have different MMIDs for different accounts. All these could be linked to a single registered mobile number.

      Here’s how you can generate the MMID.

 

    • Through Internet Banking


      • Log in at www.icicibank.com
      • Click on ‘Generate/Retrieve MMID’ on the menu bar located on the left side
      • Select the account for which the MMID needs to be generated
      • Click on ‘Generate/Retrieve MMID’.

 

    • Through SMS

      • SMS MMID<space>last four digits of your account number to <9222208888>
      • You will receive an SMS with your seven-digit MMID code for this bank account (example: <9229134>)
      • Similarly, you can generate MMIDs for all the other accounts that you may have with us.

For IMPS using mobile number and MMID:

  • Login to www.icicibank.com
  • Go to ‘Payments & Transfer’ and click on ‘Funds Transfer’.
  • Select ‘Transfer funds through IMPS using mobile number and MMID’.
  • Select the account from which you wish to transfer funds.
  • Enter the required details like the payee’s mobile number, the payee’s MMID, the amount of the transaction and the transaction remarks.
  • Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) you receive and the grid value on your ATM/debit card to complete your transaction. 
  • Once your transaction is complete, your payment confirmation number is displayed on the screen.

For IMPS using account number and IFSC:

  • Login to www.icicibank.com
  • Go to ‘Payments & Transfer’ and click on ‘Funds Transfer
  • Select ‘Transfer funds to other bank accounts
  • Select the payee from the list of registered payees
  • Enter the required details like the amount of the transaction and the transaction remarks
  • Enter the grid value on your ATM/debit card
  • Once your transaction is complete, your payment confirmation number is displayed on the screen

    Our IMPS service is available 24x7, throughout the year, including Sundays and holidays.

 

  • Transaction limits

    • The minimum amount you can transfer through the IMPS facility is ₹1. 
    • The maximum amount you can transfer through IMPS using IFSC is ₹2 lakh
    • For IMPS transfers done using MMID, there’s a limit of two transactions per day, where you can transfer up to ₹10,000 per transaction.

    For transactions up to ₹1 lakh: ₹5 + applicable GST.
    For amounts above ₹1 lakh and up to ₹2 lakh: ₹15 + applicable GST
