allows you to check the booking status through ICICI-IRCTC website. Just enter your PNR number on the check PNR field and click on “Get Status” button to know the seat confirmation status.

What is railway chart preparation? Can I book tickets after chart is prepared?

The chart preparation of train depends on its departure time, for every train, Chart preparation time is different and it also depends on whether train departure time is in the morning or evening. Usually for all trains, chart is prepared 4 hours before it’s scheduled departure from Origin station.

How many train tickets can be booked in a single instance?

I have picked my travel date, route journey and train. What should I Do?

Proceed further for the payment of tickets you have just booked. You can use our IRCTC train ticket service to check availability and Book Now!

While booking, the amount was debited but ticket not booked. What should I do?

If for some reason, you could not see the confirmation page, please check my bookings page. If you do not see the desired transaction, it means ticket is not booked. The booking amount would be credited without levying any charges. You may retry the bookings later.

I had selected a particular berth preference, but have been allotted a different berth. Why is it so?

Birth/seat allotment is done by Centralized Reservation System of Indian Railways which is based on a pre-defined logic as per train seat availability

Can I cancel my ticket if the train is already departed?

No, you can’t cancel post departure but you can file for the TDR.

What are the various Quotas available for booking?

We have both general and tatkal quotas

When should I file TDR?

TDR should be filed within 72hrs of scheduled departure of the train at passengers boarding station.
