Forex@Click is an online platform through which you can purchase foreign currency notes and the Forex Prepaid Card at competitive rates at the click of a button. The forex will be delivered to your doorstep. You can also reload your Forex Prepaid Card using Forex@Click.

*ICICI Bank reserves the right to reject any forex transaction, if the documents submitted are not adhering to RBI guidelines and internal policies.

We offer two products through this platform - ICICI Bank Forex Prepaid Card and foreign currency notes. You may request any of these products as per your requirements.

Currently, these 2 products can only be purchased online. Any unspent amount has to be - returned within a period of 180 days from the date of receipt\ realisation\ purchase\ acquisition\ date of return of the traveller as the case may be. We currently offer the following currencies online:

1. For Foreign currency notes: USD, EUR & GBP
2. For ICICI Bank Forex Prepaid Card: USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, CHF, JPY, AED, HKD, SGD, THB, SAR, SEK, ZAR & NZD

You can purchase foreign exchange online through Forex@Click service of ICICI Bank when you are travelling abroad for any of the below mentioned purposes

• Private Visit (Leisure Travel)
• Education (Studies Abroad)
• Medical Treatment
• Emigration

For the delivery of forex requested, the following documents would be required:

1. Fill and sign the requisite form/s (Form A2 cum application and LRS declaration) to be submitted
2. Submit a copy of your passport
3. Show the original passport for physical verification
4. Be physically present at the location of delivery to handover the documents and receive the forex as requested.

Note: Documentation, other requisites for availing the facility is subject to change from time to time depending upon the FEMA/internal guidelines of the bank.

• Minimum transaction amount: USD 500 or it’s equivalent. (The minimum limit per product i.e Forex Prepaid Card or Currency Notes is USD 200 or it’s equivalent)
• Maximum transaction amount: USD 7,000 or it’s equivalent (subject to LRS limits)

For private visits abroad, other than to Nepal and Bhutan, you can buy foreign exchange up to an aggregate amount of USD 2,50,000 per financial year, irrespective of the number of visits undertaken during the year. All tour related expenses including cost of rail/road/water transportation; cost of Euro Rail; passes/tickets, etc. outside India; and overseas hotel/lodging expenses shall be subsumed under the limit of Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS). No foreign exchange is available for visit to Nepal and/or Bhutan for any purpose.

You can avail foreign exchange up to USD 2,50,000 or it’s equivalent for medical treatment abroad on a Self-Declaration basis in Form A2 and ‘Application cum declaration for purchase of foreign exchange under LRS of USD 2,50,000, without any estimate from a hospital/doctor in India/abroad.

However, in case the foreign exchange exceeds the above limit, the request needs to be supported by an estimate from a hospital/doctor in India/abroad.

Further, additionally an amount up to USD 2,50,000 per financial year is allowed to a person for accompanying as an attendant to a patient going abroad for medical treatment/check-up.

You can avail up to USD 2,50,000 or it’s equivalent (within the limit of LRS) for the purpose of education abroad.

Foreign exchange can be bought 60 days in advance from the proposed date of travel provided you are able to produce the required documents.
