What is the minimum balance required to be maintained for Life Plus Senior Citizen Savings Account?
Life Plus Senior Citizen Savings Account : Minimum monthly average balance (MAB)* Rs.5000
(W.e.f. June 1, 2016 : Rs.4500)
Charges for non maintenance of minimum monthly average balance (NMMAB): Rs 100 per month
(W.e.f. June 1, 2016 : 5% of the shortfall in required MAB or Rs. 100 whichever is lower).
What is the eligibility criteria for opening Life Plus Senior Citizen Savings Account?
The account is available for Resident Individual (sole or joint account), Foreign national and Hindu undivided family (HUF) customers, above age of 60 years.
