Is there a time span for the MySavings Rewards Programme?


There is no time span for the MySavings Rewards Programme. To earn points under the MySavings Rewards Programme, all you have to do is simply ‘Sign up’ once and do any eligible transaction from your Savings Account. However, you need to maintain a Monthly Average Balance (MAB) of Rs. 15,000 to keep earning reward points.

 

Please note that the Bank reserves the right to modify the programme parameters as well as withdraw the programme at any given point of time.

From when can I start earning reward points?


With effect from July 1, 2016 onwards, the reward points for MySavings Rewards programme shall be given for all eligible transactions (mentioned in the programme) provided you have signed up for the programme. You need to sign up any time on or before July 31, 2016 to earn points for the eligible transactions done in July.

 

Customers signing up for the programme in any month post February will earn points for the transactions from the beginning of the month of sign up.

 

All reward points earned previously by the customer will be available for redemption as per the existing process till expiry.

On which transactions can I earn reward points?


There is a wide range of transactions on which you can earn reward points. They include Family Banking, bill payment activation, Internet Banking and iMobile activation with one or more financial transactions within 30 days of activation, first Auto Debit of Home/Auto/ Personal Loan EMIs, loading of Travel Card, etc. For the list of eligible transactions, please click here.

How many points can I earn maximum in a month in this Programme ?

Are there any charges applicable for earning points under MySavings Rewards Programme?


No, currently there are no charges applicable for earning points under the programme.

Do I need to register for the programme?


Yes, a one-time registration is required for participating in the MySavings Rewards programme effective from July 1, 2016. The PAYBACK points will start accruing for all eligible transactions post the Sign Up for the programme.

Will my existing PAYBACK points remain in my PAYBACK account?


Yes, the PAYBACK points will be available for redemption till expiry. Also, the points will not be credited to the PAYBACK account, if you have not signed up for the programme from July 2016 onwards.

I have opened my Savings Account last month. Am I eligible for the MySavings Rewards programme?


Yes, the MySavings Rewards programme is applicable for all new as well as old Savings Accounts customers. You just have to register for the programme once.

I have an ICICI Bank Current Account. Am I eligible to earn PAYBACK points on transactions done from my Current Account?


Currently, the ICICI Bank MySavings Rewards programme is only for individual customers holding ICICI Bank Savings Account only. This does not include NRI customers. Current Account customers are currently not eligible for the MySavings Rewards programme.

What happens if I miss to make an EMI or Credit Card payment? Will I still earn points in that month?


In case you miss making an EMI/ Credit Card payment in a particular month, then you will not earn any PAYBACK points in that month. Once you regularize the payments, you will start earning PAYBACK points for the eligible transactions.

Who is eligible for MySavings Rewards Programme?


MySavings Rewards programme is applicable for all individual Retail Savings Bank Account customers. Currently, the criteria is as follows:

  • Regular and Privilege Banking account customers maintaining a Monthly Average Balance (MAB) of Rs. 15,000 and above.
  • All Wealth Management and Private Banking customers are eligible for the programme (no MAB criteria is required).

Are the reward points different depending on the type of account?


Yes, the reward points are different for different type of accounts. It is based on Regular, Privilege & Wealth Management account.

How can I track my points? Will I get a summary statement?


The PAYBACK account is opened automatically post the ICICI Bank Savings Account is opened. Your PAYBACK points summary will be sent along with the next month Savings Account statement. With effect from February 1, 2016 the points on the MySavings Rewards can be earned only after the one time registration.

I am not aware of my PAYBACK account number, how can I get the PAYBACK account number?


The PAYBACK number linked to your ICICI Bank Savings Account can be viewed under the rewards section (post login) at www.icicibank.com. You can also call our Customer Care to enquire about the account number.

How can I know the total PAYBACK points earned in my account?


The various ways to know the total points accumulated are:

  • Login at www.icicibank.com  and visit the 'Rewards' Section
  • Check your monthly ICICI Bank account statement to know how many points you have accumulated
  • Call our Customer Care to enquire about your accumulated points

I have an ICICI Bank Savings Account, Debit Card and Credit Card. Will I get a segregated PAYBACK points bifurcation?


Your ICICI Bank Savings Account statement will share a clear bifurcation on points earned through your Savings Account (MySavings Rewards) and Debit Card.

 

The ICICI Bank Credit Card statement will share details on PAYBACK points earned on your Credit Card usage only.

When do my PAYBACK points expire?


PAYBACK points are available for redemption for a maximum of 3 years (i.e. 36 months).

How do I get information on the PAYBACK Points earned after an eligible transaction made?


The details on the PAYBACK points earned for each transaction is available through:

  • The rewards section (post login) at www.icicibank.com 
  • ICICI Bank Customer care
  • Our Loyalty partner (PAYBACK)

How can I get information about PAYBACK Points from the Loyalty partner?


Information on the PAYBACK points earned can be retrieved by calling PAYBACK Contact Center on 1860-258-5000 between 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Local call charges apply) or on 080-40146468. Alternatively, you may visit www.payback.in.

I already have a PAYBACK account linked to my Savings Account, will a separate account be created for this Programme?


No, the existing PAYBACK account will be linked to the MySavings Rewards programme.

What is the process to redeem the PAYBACK points I have earned on my ICICI Bank Savings Account?


The PAYBACK points earned can be redeemed in the following ways:

  1. Visit the reward section (post login) at www.icicibank.com 
  2. Call our Customer Care 
  3. Call our loyalty rewards partner PAYBACK or visit www.payback.in
  4. At exclusive PAYBACK merchants

Will the redemption for the PAYBACK points I earn be through the PAYBACK channel only?


For your convenience, the redemption of PAYBACK points can also be done through ICICI Bank Internet Banking or Customer Care.

How many PAYBACK points do I earn on a new cust ID addition in the Family Banking ID?


Every new addition of Cust ID under the Primary account will earn 200/ 400/ 600 points based upon the type of the account. The maximum points earned will be 1,000 in a month for adding Family banking IDs.

How many reward points do I get for Internet Banking/ iMobile activation?


You can earn 200/ 400/ 600 points based on the type of the account on doing one financial transaction within 30 days from the first Internet Banking/ iMobile login.

How many points do I earn on activation of an iDirect account?


You will earn 200/ 400/ 600 PAYBACK points based upon the type of the accounts on activation of an iDirect account.

Do I earn points if I open a new Trading Account or a new Demat Account and link it to the existing Savings Account?


Yes, you can earn 200/ 400/ 600 PAYBACK points based upon the type of the accounts.

How many points do I earn for Bill Pay activation in the MySavings Rewards programme?


For Bill Pay activation, you can earn 200/ 400/ 600 PAYBACK points based upon the type of the accounts for the first payment made to an eligible biller through the bill pay facility.

What are the maximum points I can earn for Bill Pay?


The maximum points earned for Bill Pay will be 1,000 points per month i.e. in case of multiple Bill Payment activations in a month.

Which are the eligible billers for which I get points in the MySavings Rewards programme?


All major billers are covered under the programme. This includes both Payment and Presentment Billers, Visa Money Transfers and DTH.

If I pay a bill from the non-logged in section of Internet Banking "the Quick Bill Pay service", do I get points for the same?


No, the bill payment will not be considered for PAYBACK points.

Do I earn points for Credit Card payment via Auto Debit from my Savings Account?


Currently, ICICI Bank Credit card payments through ICICI Bank Savings Account are not eligible for the rewards programme.

How many PAYBACK points do I get for opening the Recurring Deposit through alternate channels (i.e all channels except ICICI Bank branch)?


For the first successful contribution made through a Standing Instruction set in the ICICI Bank Savings Account towards an ICICI Bank Recurring Deposit opened through an alternate channel. You can earn 200/ 400/ 600 points based on the type of the account and a maximum of 1,000 points can be earned through multiple Recurring Deposits.

When I open a Recurring Deposit is there a minimum amount or tenure required to earn PAYBACK Points?


Currently, there is no minimum amount or tenure limit for Recurring Deposits.

Do I get PAYBACK Points for Recurring Deposits opened through all channels?


You can earn reward points for all Recurring deposits opened through alternate channels such as Internet Banking, iMobile, Phone Banking and ATM.

Do I earn points for the Recurring Deposit creation at one time or on a monthly basis?


PAYBACK points are earned for the first successful contribution made through a Standing Instruction set in the ICICI Bank Savings Account towards an ICICI Bank Recurring Deposit opened through alternate channels.

Do iWish Deposits come under Recurring Deposits for reward point calculation?


Yes. iWish Deposits are included for reward points when opened through alternate channels. It is a flexible Recurring Deposit that lets you save for your goals as and when you have the funds and earn better interest rates just like a Fixed Deposit.

Which are the Loan products for which I can earn PAYBACK Points?


Currently the Loan Products applicable for the Rewards are:

  1. Home Loan
  2. Auto Loan
  3. Personal Loan

How many points do I earn for Loans?


You can earn 500/ 750/ 1,000 PAYBACK points based upon the type of the accounts on the first Auto Debit transaction for Loan EMIs. A maximum of 1,000 PAYBACK points per month can be earned for each of the eligible loan products.

Will I earn a maximum of 1,000 points for all loan products together?


No, 1,000 PAYBACK points is the maximum you can earn for each Loan product individually.

I have a Rs. 35 Lakh Home Loan for 20 years, will the PAYBACK points be given for the time span of 20 years?


Currently for loan products, the PAYBACK points would be credited only for the first Auto Debit transaction for Loan EMIs.

Will I get Rewards Points for the Loan Sanction amount, the disbursal amount or the EMI for Loans?


With effect from July 1, 2016, 500/ 750/ 1,000 PAYBACK points based upon the type of the accounts, can be earned on the first Auto Debit of Loan EMIs. The minimum disbursal amount should be Rs. 1 Lakh.

Do I earn reward points for part payment under the Programme?


No, PAYBACK points are not awarded for Part Payments under the Programme.

Am I eligible for the PAYBACK points for any other mode of payment other than the first Auto Debit of Loan EMIs?


For earning PAYBACK points under Loan product, the mode of payment has to be Auto Debit for Loan Products.

Will I get reward points on Buy outs or Transferred loans from other organisations?


No, at present PAYBACK reward points are only eligible for the following Loan Products:

  1. Home Loan
  2. Auto Loan
  3. Personal Loan through ICICI Bank

Will I get reward points on the first ECS Debit transactions?


Yes, you can earn up to 600 PAYBACK points on the first ECS Debit transaction. The ECS Debit Transaction is used to pay EMIs or Credit Card payments of other banks from ICICI Bank Savings Account.

How many PAYBACK points do I earn for Internet Banking/iMobile activation?


For Internet Banking and iMobile activation, you can earn up to 600 PAYBACK points after making one financial transaction within 30 days from the first Internet Banking/ iMobile login. The maximum points you can earn is 600 for each activation.

I have an existing Internet Banking User ID, if I reactivate the ID will I earn PAYBACK points for reactivation


Currently in the programme, PAYBACK points can be earned only for the creation of a new User ID for both Internet Banking and iMobile & post making one financial transaction within 30 days from the first Internet Banking/ iMobile login.

Do I get PAYBACK points for delinking the Internet Banking/ iMobile User ID and generation of a new User ID and password?


No, PAYBACK points are given for the generation of the New User ID only once.

How many points do I get as a reward on my Travel Card?


You can earn up to 600 PAYBACK points on your ICICI Bank Travel Card on a minimum value of Rs. 25,000 uploaded through ICICI Bank Savings account.

Is there any limit on the PAYBACK points I earn on my Travel Card transactions?


Yes, you can earn a maximum of 1,000 points on Travel Card Transactions.

Will I earn reward points on transactions done through other Bank account?


You earn Reward points on transactions done through your ICICI Bank Savings account only.

Can I earn reward points for all type of foreign currency upload on the Travel Card?


Yes, the reward points are earned on the amount uploaded, equivalent in value to Indian Rupees.

Do I get additional reward points on spends through my Travel Card?


No, currently reward points are earned on the amount uploaded on the Travel Card.

Will I earn reward points on individual as well as the corporate Travel Card?


Currently, reward points are given on an individual card which is issued to an individual retail domestic Savings Account holder.

Will I get reward points for purchase of foreign currencies and travellers cheque?


No, currently reward points are earned on the amount uploaded on the Travel Card.

Will I get reward points on encashment of the Travel Card?


No, currently reward points are earned on the amount uploaded on the Travel Card.

Will I get reward points on the Service Tax applicable on foreign exchange transactions?


No, currently the Service Tax applicable on transactions involving foreign exchange is not eligible to earn reward points.

Will I get PAYBACK points on my Remittance transactions?


No, you will not earn PAYBACK points on Remittance transactions.

Will I earn PAYBACK points on my regular savings account transactions?


Yes, you can earn up to 100 points on doing 5 or more transactions (Debit & Credit). The Bank induced transactions like charges, interest payment, etc will not be considered.
