How do I link my accounts?

To link and view on ICICI Bank the following procedure is to be followed:

You can apply online to link your ICICI Bank Account or ICICI Credit Card to our existing Internet Banking User Id. To apply online or to download the application form, you need to log in to ICICIBank.com and then click on the section 'Link Accounts'.  This option is available in the left menu.  (In case you do not possess an ICICI Internet Banking User Id, you could download the ICICI Bank Account application form from this site.)  Alternatively, you can send a mail through Account Manager (available on left menu) for linking credit card to bank account or vice versa.

What are the transactions that I can do online?

Once you become an online ICICI customer, you can transact using your bank account or your credit card.  
As a customer you can also transact on the accounts online, get automatic product alerts and execute online service requests. The Internet Banking User Id can be used to log on to ICICIBank.com to execute any customer transactions.

For example, as a credit card customer, you can

  • Pay your utility bills online through your credit card.
  • If you already have an Internet Banking account, then you can automatically debit your bank account to pay your credit card bill.
  • Receive your monthly statements by mail, check your payment status and much more.

As a bank customer you can do the following :

  • Transfer funds :
    • To own accounts in ICICI Bank.
    • To Any ICICI Bank account.
    • To any Bank account across 8 cities.
  • Make your utility bill payments free of charge.
  • View and query on your transactions.
  • Query on the status of a particular check.

What is Bill Payment online?

This is a facility to make online payment of your utility bills like telephone, electricity, mobile etc.
It requires you to have :

  • ICICI Bank account
  • ICICI credit card

The process of Bill Payment is customer friendly .

How do I register for Bill Payment?

  • If you are an ICICI Bank Internet Banking customer, login and select Bills.
  • If you are a first-time user, click on 'Register for a New Biller' to view the entire list of Utilities we have tied up with. This is a one-time registration and is done online.
  • Your Personal List of Billers can be created. This permanently stores your Bill Data of relevant billers.
  • Select the utility you want to register for, e.g. MTNL, and add to your Personal List of Billers by entering the relevant details.

How do I make a payment to a biller once I am logged in?

  • To initiate a payment, select the 'Make a Payment' option. This will display your Personal List of Billers.
  • Select the biller to whom you want the payment to be made. Specify the amount and the date on which the payment is to be made. Once you confirm the transaction, our system will automatically debit your account and pay the biller on the next working day.
  • Payments can be scheduled for a future date.
  • Each payment has a unique Payment Id and its status can be checked (successful, pending, etc), whenever you desire.
  • You can still continue to make payments through other payment channels.  

View last payments

This system also facilitates your viewing the bills paid over the past 6 months.
This can be done biller-wise or date-wise.

What is a/c summary?

It gives you a summary of your bank a/c's in the way you like.

When you click on this tab, you will see a table which will show you  the operative a/c wherein you will have the option to choose either detailed or mini statement. On clicking the detailed statement, you will come to a page where  you will have to fill the account criteria which would ask you to choose  the  a/c, date  range, amount range,  cheque  number, last no: of transactions etc.
You can even choose the order in which you want the statement.

You will also be given a choice of format such as whether you  want the details to be displayed on screen, or want to save it as plain text, or as MS money format  etc.

On clicking mini statement you will see the  details of your a/c for the last 10 transactions. 

From the same page you also have the option to see individual a/c's or all the a/c's by choosing the relevant option under the view tab.

What are echeques?

Now you can transfer funds to any person of your choice in India using the ICICI Bank echeques.

On clicking the tab you will see the following 3 options:

  • Transfer funds to your own a/c. This happens immediately.
  • Transfer funds to any ICICI Bank a/c across India: for this you will have to register a payee. This can take upto 1 working day as the payee has to be approved by the bank.
    You will come to the option  which says select a transaction:
    Add payee
    View payee
    Delete payee
    Make a transfer
  • Transfer funds to non ICICI Bank across cities across India (currently possible in 8 cities): you would get the following options:
    Add an echeque payee: you can add a non ICICI Bank a/c holder as an echeque payee.    This is a one time regn.
    Make a payment. By choosing this option, you can make payment to the regd payees.
    List of regd payees: you can view the list of payees who are regd.
    Show payments made: you can view the payments you have made by clicking on this tab.

Credit card  transactions : Under your credit card section you will see the following left menu tabs. Let us take a look at what they mean?

Application  Status

Irrespective of whether you have applied online or offline, online status is available
Last statement
This would give details of your previous credit card bill.

Current Statement

This would give details of your current credit card bill and is similar to the physical statement received by you.

Payment Status

This tab on clicking would give you the following information:
Last payment received date : date of last payment received
Last payment amount: amount of last payment made
Payment due date was: payment due date for the current bill
Next Statement date

Auto Debit

This is an online facility for online debiting of your ICICI Bank  A/c to honour your credit card payments. This is a one time activity to give instructions for online debit (takes 3 working days to get active)

Add-on -card

You can submit an online request for a non photo add on card.

Dial-a-draft

You can request for demand draft online. This would be shipped to your current mailing address of the credit card within 4 working days of submission of request. The amount of draft request should not be more than the available cash limit

Duplicate Pin Request

The PIN is shipped to the customer within 7 days of submission of the request at the chosen mailing address.

Subscribe to credit card statement by email

You can subscribe for it online only and this can be received in conjunction with the physical statement also

Alerts

You can set the alerts that you wish to receive on the Inbox (on the credit cards page) or at an email id provided by you for the following:
Payment due date reminder
Card approaching credit limit.
