   Muktangan
Muktangan was initiated in 2003 by Paragon Charitable Trust (PCT), as a pioneering educational programme offering low-cost, high-quality English medium education to children from the socio-economically challenged sections of society in Mumbai. Through Read to Lead, Muktangan is reaching out to 505 children.

   Nalanda Foundation
IL&FS has taken the initiative to provide suitable infrastructure and education for children with learning difficulties who are forced to drop out of the school. These students are provided continuing education under the Nalanda Foundation, a not for profit entity, with a certification from National Open School. It was established in 1998 in Mumbai to assist children with Learning Difficulties by providing an effective educational infrastructure. Under Read to Lead, Nalanda, through ILFS Education & Technology Services Limited, is reaching out to 37,059 children in the states of Maharashtra, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka & Tripura by providing educational material and training teachers on improving the quality of teaching of Science, Maths & English.

   NEEDS
Founded in 1997, Network for Enterprise Enhancement and Development Support (NEEDS) is active in community capacity building and issue based networking. The primary focus of NEEDS is on the problems of the poor in their struggle to obtain a life of justice and dignity. Under Read to Lead, NEEDS will reach out to 5,000 out of school children including disabled, in Deoghar & Jamtara districts with Jharkhand Education Project Council, in one year. Its focus will be innovative TLM and joyful learning including vocational training and child friendly environment with sanitation facility.

  New Life
New Life came into existence in the year 1993. It works to bring to mainstream the women and their children belonging to the disadvantaged sections of the society. It also provides education to children living in situations that make them vulnerable to drop out from the primary/secondary schools. Under 'Read to lead' initiative it will support 10,680 children in Trichirappalli District, Tamil Nadu.

  PACE (Participatory Action for Community Empowerment)
Set up in year 2000, Participatory Action for Community Empowerment works for the empowerment of dalits, women, poor and marginalized, children and elderly. Under 'Read to lead' initiative it will reach out 3,599 children directly and 2,000 households indirectly in slums in Lucknow City, Uttar Pradesh.

   Project Give Life
Initiated by Shriram Social Welfare Trust and Tamil Maiyam in 2003, Project Give Life is providing holistic educational support to thousands of poor children. Under the Read to Lead initiative, Give Life will provide for 5,000 children from Chennai and its sub-urban areas.
