ERDS (Economic Rural Development Society)
ERDS was established in 1982. It is involved in imparting education to disadvantaged children. ERDS mainly grooms and nurses the disadvantaged and distressed children through education so that they can earn the confidence, capability and competence to face any eventuality in future. Under 'Read to lead' initiative ERDS will support 4,499 children in South 24 Parganas, Malda & Dakshin Dinajpur in West Bengal.

Grace Peter Charitable Trust
Grace Peter Charitable trust, started in 2000, works to help under privileged children, women, and widows, irrespective of caste, colour, language, and religion. Under 'Read to lead' initiative it will support 605 children in Madurai West Block Panchayat Union, Madurai Taluk, Madurai District, TamilNadu.

Ibtada
Since 1997, Ibtada runs learning centres for the girl child called Taleemshala.It works for deprived women and children in a manner that the women themselves gain confidence and power to address issues of their concern, with special focus on Meo-Muslim girls in the Mewat region of Rajasthan. Under Read to lead initiative it will cover 3,290 children (girls) in rural areas of Alwar district in Rajasthan.

IDEA (Foundation for Initiatives in Development and Education for All)
IDEA works for disadvantaged children from slums in Pune. It was started by a group of social workers and social scientists in 2002, in order to adopt a holistic approach to deal with the problem of school dropout. Under Read to lead initiative it will educate 1,951 children in Kothrud area in Pune city, in the state of Maharashtra.

ILU (International Leprosy Union)
Formed in 1986, International Leprosy Union (ILU) provides guidance and emotional support to children under the shadow of leprosy, HIV/Aids and Tuberculosis and motivates them to attend school and complete their education. Under Read to Lead initiative it will cover 1,502 children in Maharashtra, Bihar, West Bengal and Orissa.

Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS)
KISS was established in 1993 in Bhubaneshwar and since then
has been focusing its efforts towards empowering the tribal
children in Orissa. Today it provides residential education
facilities to 5,000 children from 30 tribal groups. Under the
Read to Lead initiative, KISS will touch 3,948 children
from tribal districts of Orissa.
