He has won various prizes in district level and state level competitions and obtained certificate from more than 100 organizations recognized by Govt. of W.B. |

He would like to undergo further training from a National Level Yoga Institute like the Yoga Centre of Ramdevji. He believes that Yoga must especially be taught to the poor as it keeps sickness away and most cannot afford treatment for serious illnesses. |

|
Though tender in age Shrabanti possesses a good personality and was the first girl to enroll for training in Yoga. Her parents and others discouraged her from joining having misconceptions that this form of exercise would cause deformity and lead to various other problems.
But now Shrabanti is doing Yoga and her teacher is very satisfied with her progress. She opines that after practicing Yoga, her constipation has gone, she does not feel fatigued and she gets good sleep. She says that she feels hungry now. She praises her Yoga teacher and is happy that her school has undertaken this programme along with dance and music, Art and Computer Programme. She is happy as she can get training in each of the vocations.
Her favourite subject is physics. She loves reading. Apart from school books, she likes to read story books and magazines. She has also received a school bag and undergone a health check up funded by ICICI’s Read to Lead Programme.
After completion of her education in future she wants to become a school teacher. |

The student could not afford a winter dress since parents are extremely poor and living below poverty line. By providing winter dress from the aid received from the “READ_TO_LEAD” program of “ICICI Bank”, the student was protected from the effects of cold weather and he could attend school in winter season reducing the absenteeism. The student is intelligent and his favorite subject is Mathematics and hopes to see his career as a teacher in the same subject |

Her parents Narshimamurthy and Munikrishnamma are agricultural labourers dependent on daily wages.
She is liked by her family members because of her good nature. She has a few good friends in her village and she plays with them after school. She likes Kannada very much and scores good marks in this subject. She wants to become a teacher and sometimes shows this to Mrs. Manila by mimicking her. |

Her family cannot afford to educate her. So, the donations received by the school to educate students like her are truly appreciated. Supriya gets free note books, uniform and also a medical check up. She does not have to pay any tuition fees either. Besides that, her parents have attended the parent’s meeting which have helped them to understand the progress of their daughter. In the summer holidays, she will be taking part in the summer camp free of cost. |
