Important Points to Know before you Initiate an Address Change in your Account

1. Only a Primary Applicant can initiate an address change.

2. The signature on the address change form must match the signature in the Bank's records. In the case of mismatch in signature, please fill the signature-change related details.

3. Your account status has to be "Active". If there are no transactions in the account for more than 15 months, the account is marked "Inactive". Similarly, if there are no transactions in the account for more than 18 months, the account is marked "Dormant". If your account is in Dormant/Inactive status, please select the account activation option and indicate your Customer ID on the form.

4. Valid Passport details: If your passport has expired or a new passport has been issued after you got your account opened, please give us your latest passport copy with the address change form.

5. Address Proof: In the case of address-change either in your overseas address or Indian address, please provide appropriate address proof

6. If the country of residence indicated in Permanent address or Communication address has changed (e.g. France to Germany), please provide passport and visa copy in addition to the address proof.

Proofs to be submitted in the name of Primary Applicant. No address Proof will be accepted in the name of Joint Applicant. Address Proof is mandatory for both Overseas and Indian Address. Incase your address proof and visa is not in English, please provide a duly notarized translated copy in English.

20) Bank statement	1) For all the bank statements / passbooks, there should be at least two customer-induced transactions in the last 3 months prior to the time of placing the address-change request. Typical customer induced transactions include ATM withdrawals, debit card transactions and cheques cleared.
