Time taken for money transfer to beneficiary

Money transferred directly to beneficiary's ICICI Bank account -
In less than 5 working days (i.e. excluding Saturday, Sunday and other Public Holidays) from the date of money transfer request.
Demand Draft issued and dispatched to the beneficiary -
on 5th working day from the date of money transfer request. DD to reach beneficiary within 1-3 days from date of dispatch.

Day wise process

Day One

Request made by you at 2:00 PM New York time (i.e. 11:30 PM India time).

Day One

Request processed by ICICI Bank and sent to US banks at 2:15 PM New York time (i.e. 11:45 PM India time)

Day Two to Day Four

Money transferred (debited) from your US bank account and information from the clearing system for unpaid requests expected during this period.

Day Five

Money transferred (credited) to beneficiary's ICICI Bank account or Demand Draft issued at 4:30 AM New York time (i.e. 2:00 PM India time).
