Terms and Conditions of the Visa PVR offer
  • During the offer period, and subject to the terms set out below, PVR customers who use Visa Platinum or Visa Signature cards to buy cinema tickets through www.pvrcinemas.com will receive one free ticket out of every two tickets purchased (“Visa PVR Offer”).
  • The Visa PVR Offer is valid on all PVR cinema tickets purchased till 31 March 2009.
  • This Visa PVR Offer is open for participation to all Visa Signature and Visa Platinum cardholders, who hold valid and current Visa cards issued in India (“Eligible Visa Card”) and who make a purchase for PVR Cinemas tickets from the website www.pvrcinemas.com.
  • There will be a maximum limit of two free tickets per Eligible Visa Card for each calendar month.
  • The numbers of free tickets available under the Visa PVR offer are limited, and customers can avail of this offer on a first-come-first-served basis. For Visa Signature Cards and Visa Platinum Cards, the offer is available on PVR Cinemas tickets for movie shows all days of the week.
  • There are daily limits on the available number of free tickets on offer for every show-date. For eligible Visa cardholders, the number of free tickets available on offer for movie shows each weekday (Monday to Thursday) is limited to 150 per day. The number of free tickets available on offer for movie shows each weekend (i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday) is limited to 450 per day. These daily limits on the available free tickets for eligible Visa cardholders are on aggregate basis across all the PVR Cinemas locations put together for each movie show-date.
  • The free tickets under the offer are available to eligible Visa cardholders on a first-come-first-served basis. If free tickets for a movie show on a particular day are not available, customers can try and book for a different date to avail of the free tickets under the Visa PVR Offer.
  • The offer is applicable to cinema ticket bookings relating to all locations of PVR cinemas in India (EXCEPT PVR GOLD CLASS CINEMAS) where tickets can be booked at the website www.pvrcinemas.com. If new PVR Cinemas locations are launched during the Offer Period, the offer will automatically extend to cinema ticket purchases for such new PVR Cinemas locations.
  • The one free ticket shall be given out of every two tickets` purchased in the same purchase transaction. Thus, if a customer books four tickets in a single transaction, he will need to pay for only two tickets, as the other two tickets will be free. However, if a customer books three tickets, he can avail of only one free ticket, and has to pay the full price for the other two tickets. The offer is not available if only one cinema ticket is booked.
  • The current purchase process at www.pvrcinemas.com will remain unchanged till the stage where the Eligible Visa Card number is provided. After this stage the website will recognize the eligible card, reduce the bill amount and inform the transacting Eligible Visa Card member accordingly.
  • All Visa cardholders are advised to check the other applicable terms and conditions of PVR Cinemas at www.pvrcinemas.com before availing of the offer under the Visa PVR Offer.
  • Tickets once bought online shall be considered sold and cannot be cancelled, refunded or exchanged.
  • The cardholder shall be required to give personal information and card details online for the tickets purchased at www.pvrcinemas.com. This Visa PVR Offer cannot be combined with any other offers/discounts/promotions at PVR Cinemas.
  • Visa shall not be responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever for any deficiency or inadequacy of service rendered by PVR Cinemas or for any loss of any nature whatsoever.
  • Visa cardholders shall not be entitled to compensation/benefits in any form whatsoever in lieu of the Visa PVR Offer being availed of.
  • Visa cardholders are not bound in any manner to participate in the Visa PVR offer. Any participation by the Visa Cardholder shall be voluntary and the offer made by Visa and PVR are purely on a best-effort basis.
  • Visa shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever or howsoever for any loss, damage or claims that may arise out of or otherwise howsoever from any refusal to honour the offer made under the Visa PVR Offer.
  • Visa reserves the absolute right to withdraw and/or alter any of the terms and conditions of this Visa PVR offer at any time without giving any notice.
  • Any dispute relating to the offer or the terms and conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi only. Disputes, if any, shall be governed under the provisions of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended up to date).
  • Information about the offer is correct at the time of publication.

  • This Visa PVR Offer may be subject to other restrictions by law.

  • ICICI Bank holds out no warranty or makes no representation about the quality, delivery or otherwise of the Visa PVR Offer offered by Visa. Any dispute or claim regarding the Visa PVR Offer must be resolved by the cardholder/s with Visa directly without any reference to ICICI Bank.

  • ICICI Bank shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss/ damage/ claim that may arise out of use or otherwise of Visa PVR Offer availed by the cardholder/s.

  • The Visa PVR Offer is sponsored by Visa and the cardholder/s shall be bound by the terms and conditions stipulated by Visa in this regard.

  • ICICI Bank shall not be held liable for any delay or loss that may be caused in delivery of the Visa PVR Offer.

  • The Visa PVR Offer is not available wherever prohibited and / or on merchandise / products / services for which such programs cannot be offered for any reason whatsoever.
