IMPS

IMPS - Interbank Mobile Payment Service is an interbank electronic instant mobile money transfer service through mobile phones. IMPS service from ICICI Bank helps you access your Bank Account and transfer funds instantly. The beneficiary account is credited immediately when a Fund Transfer request is made through your Mobile phone / Internet Banking. This service is available 24x7, throughout the year including Sundays and any bank holiday. Below is the list of participating banks.

IMPS Funds Transfer facility is available through iMobile, *525#, SMS Banking and Internet Banking. You will need a 7 digit MMID* (Mobile Money Identifier) number to transfer funds via IMPS. Click here to view the charges.

Generate MMID

Go to iMobile on your mobile phone >> Select Bank Account >> Select Desired Account >> Select Insta FT(IMPS) >> Select Generate MMID >> Your 7-digit MMID will be displayed.

Once your details are authenticated, the money is transferred instantly from your account. You will also receive an SMS informing you about the relevant status.

Transfer Money

Go to iMobile on your mobile phone and Select Bank Account Menu

Select Desired Account for IMPS Funds Transfer

Select Transfer Funds option under Insta FT (IMPS)

Enter beneficiary's 10 digit mobile number and 7 digit MMID^ number followed by the amount you wish to transfer

Confirm entered details

To authenticate, enter the required 3 grid values (eg: I=24,K=54,M=43), of the 16 grid values present at the back of your ICICI Bank Debit Card

Once your details are authenticated, the money is transferred instantly from your account. You will also receive an SMS informing you about relevant status

Receive Money

To receive money to your account via instant money transfer you will need to share your mobile number and MMID with the payer.

Get IMPS Now

The IMPS service is currently available through ICICI Bank iMobile Application.

A.	New iMobile Users click here
B.	Existing iMobile Users: Go to iMobile on your phone >> Select Bank Account Menu >> Select Desired Account >>Select Options menu >> Select "Upgrade Services" >> In Bank Services Menu list - last menu will be Insta FT (IMPS)

Search for a particular transaction

Select IMPS from the menu

Click on History

Select by date and amount

Transaction details will be generated

Search for last five transactions

Select IMPS from the menu

Click on History

Select by date and amount

Transaction details will be generated

Generate MMID

Dial *525# >> ICICI Bank Mobile Banking menu will appear. Enter 5 to Retrieve MMID >> Enter the last 6 digits of the account number for which MMID needs to be generated >> Your 7-digit MMID will be displayed.

Once your details are authenticated, the money is transferred instantly from your account. You will also receive an SMS informing you about the relevant status.

Transfer Money

Dial *525# and Enter 2 for IMPS from the menu

Provide beneficiary mobile number, beneficiary MMID and amount to be transferred seperated by spaces. Eg; 9800123456 9229134 100

Enter the 4 digit PIN

Confirmation along with a reference number will be provided. SMS confirmation will also be sent

	Once your details are authenticated, the money is transferred instantly from your account. You will also receive an SMS informing you about relevant status
	If you want to do IMPS fund transfer from other than primary account, enter 6 for more services and enter 3 for IMPS Fund Transfer - Other A/c

Receive Money

To receive money to your account via instant money transfer you will need to share your mobile number and MMID^ with the payer.

Generate M PIN

Dial *525# and select Generate M PIN from the menu

Enter Last 4 digits of your account number

Enter grid values which is present on the back of the debit card. For example: If the digits are A E and I, reply with the digits associated with the alphabets A, E and I. Eg; 10 20 30

Create 4 digit PIN of your choice. Eg; 1234

Message of successful PIN generation will be displayed which can be used for all future IMPS transactions.

Search for a particular transaction

Dial *525# and select More Service from the menu

Select IMPS transaction enquiry

Enter 12 digit IMPS transaction reference number

Get details for the particular transaction.

Search for last five transactions

Dial *525# and select More Service from the menu

Select IMPS - last 5 transactions

Get details of last 5 transactions

Generate MMID

sms MMID [space] last 6 digits of your account number to 9222208888 >> You will receive an sms carrying your 7-digit MMID for this bank account, e.g., 9229134. You can similarly generate MMIDs for all other accounts that you may have with us.

Transfer Money (from Primary Account)

SMS IMPS to 9222208888

A menu will be visible on the screen. Select 1 to transfer money from your primary account.

Provide beneficiaries 10 digit mobile number, beneficiary MMID and amount to be transferred separated by space. e.g 9988123450 9229134 100

Enter the 4 digit PIN

Confirmation along with a reference number will be provided. SMS confirmation will also be sent.

Once your details are authenticated, the money will be transferred instantly from your account to the beneficiary's account. You will also receive an SMS informing you about relevant status.

Transfer Money (from Non-Primary Account)

SMS IMPS to 9222208888

A menu will be visible on the screen. Select 4 to transfer money from your non-primary account.

From the menu visible, select 3.

Provide beneficiaries 10 digit mobile number, beneficiary MMID and amount to be transferred separated by space. e.g 9988123450 9229134 100

Provide the last 6 digit of your non-primary account number.

Enter the 4 digit PIN

Confirmation along with a reference number will be provided. SMS confirmation will also be sent.

Once your details are authenticated, the money will be transferred instantly from your account to the beneficiary's account. You will also receive an SMS informing you about relevant status.

Receive Money

To receive money to your account via instant money transfer you will need to share your mobile number and MMID^ with the payer.

Generate MPIN

sms MPIN to 9222208888

A menu will appear on the screen. Reply 1 to proceed

Enter the required grid values present on the reverse of your debit card. For example: If the alphabets are A, E and I, reply with the digits associated with the alphabets A, E and I. Eg; If A=10, E=20 & I=30 then you should enter 102030

Enter last 4 digits of the account number associated with this debit card

Create a 4-digit MPIN of your choice. e.g., 1234

Message for successful MPIN generation will be displayed. This MPIN can be used for all future transactions from this phone.

Search for a particular transaction

SMS IMPS to 9222208888

A menu will be visible on the scree. Select 4 to transfer money from your primary account.

From the menu visible, select 2

Provide the transaction reference number to get the details of the transaction

Search for last five transactions

SMS IMPS to 9222208888

A menu will be visible on the scree. Select 4 to transfer money from your primary account.

From the menu visible, select 1

Enter last 6 digit of the account number for which you want to inquiry

Generate MMID

Login to ICICI Bank.com >> Click on Generate / Retrieve MMID on your left hand side menu bar >> select the account for which MMID needs to be generated >> click on Generate / Retrieve MMID

Transfer Money

Click on Funds Transfer option

Select Other Account using IMPS (24*7)

Select the account from which you wish to transfer funds

Enter Payee Mobile number, Payee MMID and transaction amount

Once your transaction password and grid card details is authenticated the money is transferred instantly from your account. You will also receive an SMS informing you about the relevant status.

Receive Money

To receive money to your account via instant money transfer you will need to share your mobile number and MMID^ with the payer.

Search for a particular transaction

Click on Funds Transfer option

Click on Payment History

In transaction type select Other account using IMPS(24*7)

Select your ICICI Bank Account and click Go

Transaction details will be generated

Search for last five transactions

Click on Funds Transfer option

Click on Payment History

In transaction type select Other account using IMPS(24*7)

Select your ICICI Bank Account and click Go

Transaction details will be generated

*Mobile Money Identifier (MMID) is a 7 digit code issued by a participating bank to their Mobile Banking registered customers for availing IMPS service as a beneficiary. You will have different MMIDs for different accounts and all these could be linked to a single registered mobile number
