  1. What is mChek?
    mChek is a menu based mobile application which resides on customer's mobile phone which is used to make utility bill and merchant payments.Kindly refer the merchant list.

  2. Why should I use mChek?
    mChek provides anywhere any time, 24/7, banking services - utility bill payment and merchant payments. mChek is Safe - All transactions are controlled by your mChek PIN.

  3. Are there any charges for using ICICI Bank Visa Debit card on mchek?
    Currently ICICI Bank is not charging for any services but the telecom service provider would charge you for the sms/GPRS as per existing tariffs.ICICI Bank reserves the right to charge for any/all transactions and revise such charges and such updates in charges shall be intimated to the customer through alerts/display on the website depending upon the discretion of ICICI Bank.

  4. How do I get mChek application?
    SMS 'mChek' to 5676709 from your mobile handset. If your mobile handset supports mChek application, you will receive a message containing a link, by clicking the link you can start downloading the mChek application.Kindly note you need GPRS connection to download mChek application on your mobile phone. Post download is complete, the 'Install mChek?' prompt is displayed.Click 'yes' to proceed.You need GPRS service to use mChek.

  5. How do I get my ICICI Bank Visa Debit card on mChek?
    Once mchek application is downloaded on your mobile handset you need to call the ICICI Bank customercare and place a request for ICICI Bank Visa Debit card on mChek. ICICI Bank Visa Debit card on mChek will be linked to your existing savings account. A virtual ICICI Bank Visa Debit card on mChek will be issued and sent on to your mobile phone within 2-3 working days. There will be no physical card issued.
  6. What happens if I have replaced my mobile handset?
    You need to download mChek application on your new mobile phone handset and apply for fresh ICICI Bank Visa Debit card on mChek.

  7. What should I do if I lose my mobile handset?
    Since all transactions are authorized only by your 6 digit mChek pin any unauthorized usage on your ICICI Bank Visa Debit card on mChek is prevented. You need to call ICICI Bank customer care to deactivate your ICICI Bank Visa Debit card on mChek.Also call your mobile service provider to prevent unauthorized usage of your mobile phone number.

  8. Can I set my own mChekPIN?
    Yes. When you register with mChek, you will be required to select your own 6 digit mChekPIN. Please ensure the security of your mChek account by not sharing the mChekPIN with anyone and changing the same at frequent intervals.

  9. How do you change your mChek pin?
    To change your mChek pin,Select the main menu>my accounts>Change mChek pin menu option>Enter your existing mChek pin>enter your new mChek pin>reconfirm your new mChek pin.

  10. What happens if I enter a wrong mChek pin?
    After 3 incorrect attempts, your account get blocked and you will be prevented from further transactions as a safety measure. To unblock your account you need to call customercare to reactivate your ICICI Bank Visa Debit card on mChek.

  11. What are the daily limits for shopping on ICICI Bank Visa Debit card on mChek?
    You can shop upto Rs. 50,000 per day on ICICI Bank Visa Debit card on mChek.

  12. How do I know that transaction I made was successful?
    SMS is send to the customer once the transaction is processed.

  13. What should I do if I do not receive receipt of my transaction?
    It may be due to technical reasons/error.If you do not receive sms after considerable time please mail your query to support@mchek.com.
