Wire transfer / SWIFT details

ICICI Bank's Wire Transfer is one of the easy and fast offline method of sending money to your family and friends in India. No matter where you are in the world, Wire Transfer , from your local bank, allows you to remit money to any account with ICICI Bank or over 75,000 other bank branches in India enabled for NEFT.

All you need to do is to get to your local bank branch and instruct them to credit our relevant nostro account held with our correspondent bank (see correspondent bank list) in the currency you want to send funds in. You can mention any account with ICICI Bank or or over 75,000 other bank branches in India enabled for NEFT, in the ultimate beneficiary details. Please remember to tell your local bank to mention "OUR" in their charges column when they send the wire transfer.

From the time you place the funds transfer request with your local bank, it takes 24-48 banking hours for the funds to reach our nostro account held with our correspondent bank. The Wire transfer will be processed within 24 hours after ICICI Bank has received the funds into its nostro account held with the correspondent bank. ICICI Bank accounts may receive the credit the same day of processing of the transaction. Other bank accounts may either receive the credit through NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer) either on the same day or next working day.

Charges for issue of Demand Draft is mentioned below:

Demand Draft = 0.2%(Making Charges) + Rs. 35 (Courier Charges)
(The amount charged is sum of the making charges and courier charges or Rs. 85 whichever is higher)

Service tax will be levied on the converted gross INR amount in accordance with the Service Tax (Amendment) Rules, 2011 of the Government of India w.e.f. 1st April 2011. Please click here to know the slab wise service tax structure.

Important Instructions:
Please ensure that your local bank mentions your account number, name and address in the payment message as it is mandatory as per the regulatory requirement. The Purpose of Remittance should be duly mentioned in the Field 72 This would prevent any undue delay in the processing of your transaction.
