I hold an ICICI bank credit card. Because of an earlier bitter experience with the credit card of a reputed foreign bank, i was always skeptical about credit cards and have refused outright to take any credit card for several years. In fact the very concept of credit and loans was so obnoxious to me. Even after getting an ICICI bank credit card, i considered that it was forced on me and refused to use it for a long time. When I started using it, i was in for a pleasant surprise. I am satisfied with the billing, resolution of my queries and other aspects and am using my card extensively now. But i regret to say that I have outstanding home loans of some other financial institutions and a few credit cards of nationalised banks, which still are far from satisfactory in their conduct. In the light of the above, Hats off to ICICI Bank for its exemplary record

I had lost my debit card. I locked the card immediately. The response from your customer support department was fabulous. Miss Pooja and Mr. Shashank had handled my request no. registered on 13-12-2006 and as promised by them I received my card and pin no within 10 days and that too free of cost. I had also lost an ATM card of one of your competitor & had locked that card on the same day. But still the matter is under follow up and every time some foolish reason is being given .They want me to open a new account instead of granting me new card in lieu of lost card. When we came to know that I would need a No Objection certificate from the ICICI bank. I entered the bank completely blank; I just did not know what to do and whom to meet.
