What do you mean by the Priority Pass facility?
Priority Pass is the world's largest independent airport lounge program, which gives the cardholder access to more than 500 airport VIP lounges in over 275 airports worldwide.

How do I apply for a Priority Pass Card?
Currently, this facility is applicable to Signature Cardholders and Platinum Cardholders only.
- For Platinum Cardholders, a customer has to fill in the Priority Pass form enclosed in the Forms booklet provided in the “Welcome” kit. The card is dispatched to the mailing address.
- For Signature Cardholders, Priority Pass comes as an offer to the customer along with the “Welcome” kit and Signature Card.

What is the validity of a Priority Pass Card?
The Priority Pass card is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Are there any charges for the Priority Pass?
The Priority Pass is issued free of cost: there is no Joining fee, Annual fee or Renewal fees However, there are charges applicable for every lounge visit, as follows:

The pass can be used in 500 lounges in 275 cities in more than 90 countries worldwide. It is valid in all the lounges that come under the Priority Pass programme. When you join, you will receive a comprehensive Lounge Directory detailing precisely how to find each lounge, along with a list of all the facilities.

Membership of Frequent Flyer programmes gets a customer into airport lounges. So why do I need a Priority Pass?
As membership of Frequent Flyer programmes continues to grow, many airlines are becoming more restrictive with lounge access. And remember, it's not always possible to fly with your preferred airline. Priority Pass lounges do not have such restrictions and it doesn't matter which airline you are flying with.

What if I am travelling with a colleague who isn't a member of Priority Pass?
You can invite friends or guests to join in the lounges. Most lounges will allow any number of guests but wherever there are limits, the details are specified in the Lounge Directory and on the lounge search.

Can I use lounges even when I am not travelling on a business trip?
Of course, you can. But if you are travelling with your family, please do note that some lounges, particularly in the UK, do not allow access for children below 12 years of age.

Yes. All lounges listed in the Priority Pass Directory are open to all members, irrespective of the airline they fly with.

Yes. You may download the format of your choice from the site www.prioritypass.com to a palm/hand-held computer or pocket PC (Windows CE) – or to your desktop or notebook in PDF format.

What happens if I don't have my Priority Pass with me and I want to visit a lounge?
Unfortunately, the lounge staff will not be able to permit you access unless you produce your membership card. It is therefore important to carry your Priority Pass membership card with you always.

Are the lounges run by Priority Pass?
No. Priority Pass has contracts with lounges that are run by the airport authorities, ground handling agents and the airlines themselves

Will I get flight details while I am lounging?
No. Although some lounges do have flight information monitors, not all lounges have this facility. As lounges have no contractual obligation to Priority Pass members to announce flights, it is the your sole responsibility to remain aware of flight times and boarding information..
