Mr. Narendra Murkumbi was first appointed on the Board of ICICI Bank Limited on January 20, 2006. He is an Electronics Engineer and has completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in 1994. Mr. Murkumbi has 15 years experience in agri-inputs and agro processing industries. He started a bio-pesticide company (an SSI) in 1994 and managed the same for four years. He subsequently co-founded Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd. which is now a major sugar / ethanol company in India. He is currently the Vice-Chairman & Managing Director of Shree Renuka Sugars Limited.
