Mr. Anupam Puri was first appointed on the Board of ICICI Bank Limited effective May 3, 2002. He holds various degrees viz., Masters in Philosophy and Master of Arts in Economics from Oxford University and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Delhi University. He is currently a Management Consultant. From 1970 to 2000, he was with McKinsey & Company, a leading management consultancy firm. He worked globally with corporate clients in several industries on strategy and organisational issues, and also served several governments and multilateral institutions on public policy. He spearheaded the development of McKinsey’s India practice, oversaw the Asian and Latin American offices and was an elected member on the Board.
